You probably aren't over him because your crush is very taboo and forbidden. Even though you two aren't technically related, it's definatly not anything you could ever tell your parents. I'm sure that's what's keeping the crush going for so long. I once had a crush on my third cousin (by law), and eventually I just moved on and realized that no matter how you look at it...even if he likes you back there is NO happy alternative for you two whatsoever. So, homecoming is coming up in about three weeks. My friends have all dates, we know what restaurant we might want to go to... but i dont have a date. I wanted to ask one of my guy friends [who's really cute] but he was planning on either going with another girl or not going at all... so there went plan A. I don't have many guy friends that I'm comfortable with going to a dance with, seeing that i've never been to a dance, ever in my life, except for summer camp. And i've only slow danced once, with a foreign exchange student. So it can be deemed that i'm not experienced whats-so-ever.
Aside from the question of "how do i get a date within two weeks?" [not three because i need time to buy a dress], there is another issue. There's this guy who's in about almost all of my classes and he lives down the street from me [which i did not know till this year]. And all my friends are pushing for me to go with him to coronation. Even though i've been saying that i wouldnt go with him, i'm kind of siding with the fact that i dont have a date and i need one... but i know if i should ask or not. I would much rather be asked than ask. But i dont know if he'd want to go with me especially when one of my friends asked him about asking me [at the football game and i was there too], he pretended to gag.... and i cant ask guys out...i asked one of my guy friends to coronation as a joke, and i couldnt even spit it out for like five minutes...talk about pathetic. Okay i asked something like this last night but i need to add to it and i think it'll help you guys to answer it. So i was at an orchestral rehearsal and there's the girl. ( i'm 15/f bi and i'm not sure how old she its). But she's gorgeous but i can't get up the nerve to go say hi. All i can do is stare. I still couldn't focus tonight, it even got worse. Recently one of my good friends and I have been sleeping together, but now hes trying to get back together with his girlfriend of two years. She and I are good friends also, and decided to get together to talk and just hang out. I informed him that if she asked about us, I wouldnt lie about it. He convinced me otherwise, saying that if I told the truth, they would never be together again.

It doesn't mean you are gay, it could just mean that you are still sexually immature and you aren't ready for boys. I know a guy who found himself looking at guys more, when he was in middle school but he realized it wasn't really in a sexual way, it was more in a "Wow he's good looking, he must get lots of girls" type of way, and when he matured sexually (Finished puberty) he realized that he was into girls, and he looked at guys in a respective way, not sexual.
