If you know what the person's into, then just start talking about things like that. Don't seem like you're trying to force the conversation because that can cause him/anyone to think that you're weird. Just be you and try and talk about something that you both can relate too and if he's a guy, then talk about sports. Guys love sports and guys love girls that know about sports and the ones that can play sports and don't freak out if you don't know how to play that sport or know nothing about any sport at all. Just talk about it. Let him teach you. Or talk about what you like to do after school(if you go) or something that you're interested in. Just be you and be cool. I was new at school this year, and the way I made some friends was by saying.. "I really like your shoes" Then she said, "thanks!" Then I just said.. "I had a pair of those in blue & white before, except someone stole them.." Then we just kept talking, and became really good friends!
