can you wear a tampon, if your cherry "hasnt popped"?
You can wear a tampon if you've started your period. Whether your hymen has been ripped yet or not isn't a factor. I would actually advise wearing a tampon, because this will slowly breakdown the hymen until there is nothing left to "pop". It will be less painful this way.

Ok so I've been on the pill for 5 months this month. When can I have un protected sex?
My boyfriend and I have been having sex for about 9 months now and have always used a condom. It doesn't bother me or my boyfriend about using extra protection but I was just curious!

Technically you could have sex now without a condom. You usually are supposed to wait a month before having sex without one, and for you it's already been five. Remember though, if you don't use a condom but are still on birthcontrol, it isn't considered "unprotected sex". You're still protected by the pill.

So my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex less than a week ago and I took the morning after pill. This pill could make my period come late and I may get cramps after taking it. Well, after I took the pill I was perfectly fine, and I've gotten my period on schedule. However, I'm having incredibly painful cramps. I'm taking midol every six hours, and it only gives me slight relief for about 20 minutes. I'm wondering if I could be having a miscarriage, or if this morning-after pill I took is having side-effects almost a week later. I usually have a very easy menstrual cycle, with little cramps, normal bleeding etc. Now I'm hardly bleeding and having killer cramps. Does anyone know what I could possibly be going through? If it helps, I'm 16 years old. Thanks in advance.
If the pill said it could cause cramps, then that's your problem. I doubt you are having a miscarriage, because if you were you would most likely be bleeding heavy. Keep taking midol and lay with a heating pad over your stomach. If the cramps continue after your period is over, tell someone.

Depending on your state, (i'm not sure of the law in Illinois) he may get charged with statatory rape. (Excuse my spelling, it's early and i'm not about to go spell check it.) As long as the two of you don't tell anyone that you are sexually actice, then you should be ok.

ok well i dont know if this is the rite topic..but..my friend*Whitney* has been going out with this guy*kevin*. Whoa, first off you don't know if she loves this boy or not. She may love him very much. You're her bestfriend, and she shouldn't be scared to tell you anything. And you shouldn't have gotten mad. She wasn't forced into it, so he did nothing wrong. You guys are growing up and she has a boyfriend now that she is going to eventually do stuff with whether you like it or not.
The best thing to do is let her make her own 'mistakes' if that truely what you think this is, and then be there for her when it all blows up in her face (if it does.)

i have a lot of discharge. its almost everyday and even when i wear a panty liner it'll go through so it looks like i peed my pants. i can't wear a pad everyday because, you just cant. so i was wondering if there was anything causing an excessive amount of discharge. im a virgin but i do masturbate. so could this be a factor?
Your masturbation has nothing to do with the amount of discharge your body is producing. At your age (14 if i'm correct) it's normal to experience frequent discharge, but it's not normal to produce enough to go through a pantiliner and your pants. I would advise going to the doctor, because no one on advicenators is going to be able to give you an examination or medically tell you what the problem is. It may be a vaginal infection which can be caused by spermicide, lubrication, or it could be a foreign object (toilet paper, cotton of tampon) has managed to work itself into you causing an infection. Or it could be "thrush". This may be followed or accompanied with itching. If you've ever had sex, it could be chlamydia or another form of STDs. No matter what it is though, it's best to go get an examination from a doctor.
If you would like to TRY to reduce the amount of discharge, try some of these tips i've found:
-Keep your entire genital area clean & dry.
-Avoid douching.
-If you KNOW it's a yeast infection, ue an over-the-counter cream or vaginal suppository.
-Try to avoid stress.
-Eat yogurt with live cultures or take Lactobacillus acidophilus tablets when on antibiotics to avoid a yeast infection.
-Use condoms to avoid catching or spreading sexually transmitted diseases.
-Keep your blood sugars under good control if you have diabetes.

I didn't mean an entire tampon. I meant maybe some of the cotton came off of the tampon as you were inserting it or taking it out. And the possibility of STDS were just a possibility. You know alot about the Bible and God and so forth, so I have a question for you...Why arent you a Christian? I dont mean this as a "you know your crap so be one or else" but as a did something happen a while ago...or Do you not believe in God yourself, or what?
You're right. I know a lot about the bible, but no. Nothing in particular happened that made me decide not to be a Christian.
I'm one of those people that have to have facts before I can believe in something. When I (called) myself a Christian, I never was very true to God, because I found myself doubting Him a lot. I would constantly question why he wasn't answering my prayers, why he wouldn't give me a sign to show me He exists, et cetera. Eventually, I stopped going to church too. As I got older and was becoming more adapted to life and some of the terrible thigns that happens in the world, I decided that I would no longer call myself a Christian. Mainly because I didn't want to fool myself or others any longer by calling myself a follower of God.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying there isn't a God or anything, i've just come to realize that if I don't have proof and i'm not 100% sure in my faithfulness, i'm not going to call myself a Christian. I'd just be lying to myself and to others.
I guess you could say i'm agnostic? Though I don't consider myself one. I'm just very confused about religions in general. I've pretty much given up on all organized religions, so i'm pretty much..nothing. Except for confused of course.

Admitting you like sex and calling yourself a whore are two different things. You need to discover the difference between the two before we go any further. Having sex just to be having sex and being addicted to sex is the difference. I think you have a problem. Being addicted to sex is considered a problem just like any other addiction. One of my best friends, who I've known since we were toddlers, is starting to really get on my nerves. She tries to be like the popular people ALL the time. First of all, if this girl wants to try 'being cool' just let her. If her new hairstyles look bad, and her new fashion taste isn't exactly up to par, that's her problem. She's the one looking bad, not you so don't worry. If she's just trying to improve her looks, that's one thing. But when she ditches her friends to go try to fit in, it can become a problem. If she's hurting your feelings, don't let her. You and this other friend could ditch her for once, and you just wait; she'll come crawling back to you when her other so called friends leave her. Give her a dose of her own medicine, and i'm sure that will do the trick.
If you want to take a less brutal route, talk to her. Tell her you are sick or her ditching you and your not going to put up with it anymore. Maybe that will make her think, if not you just saved yourself from being in a hurtful friendship.

can you have sex when youre pregnent?
Yes. You can have sex while you are pregnant up until the fifth or sixth month I think. My home economics teacher told me it was actually good for the baby. After the sixth month though, I would probably stop. When you go to the doctor, they should talk to you about this. If not, then ask.
