It's a great thing you have talked about this. If you give your boyfriend head, you probably won't be considered a whore. He's your boyfriend, and having sex and doing sexual things shouldn't make you a slut. It won't.
If you want him to wear a condom for your own comfort, then make him. I'm guessing you are wanting him to wear one because of STDs. If this is the case, make him get checked. Besides STDs, it shouldn't matter if he wears a condom or not.

Basically the only reasons you would want him to use a condom is a.) to prevent any viruses/diseases and b.) because you don't wany any cum to get into your mouth. However, you can solve these problems.
A.) Have him see a doctor to see he has any viruses or diseases. If he is 100% sure he does not, then you have nothing to worry about. If he does, then my advice would be not to perform oral sex. Even with a condom on there is still a slight chance you could get the virus.
B.) This one's easy. Guys can tell when they are about to cum, so before you begin to perform oral sex on him, ask him to either tell you or just tap you when he knows he is going to cum. You can't just stop though or he won't be able to "finish". If you take your mouth off, give him a handjob until he has finished ejaculating.
