I'm Jessie. I've been on here on and off for about 7 years. I'm 22 :) I am currently in my final year of college studying English and new media I'm from Ireland I dye my hair way too much. I've been blonde,brown,brown with blonde,black,red,and blonde again!I love helping people I found advicenators when I was just 15 and didn't understand the world! I feel I have matured with this site. The people on here are amazing and I love coming on here in my spare time to be there for people in need. I won't tell you what you want to hear because that's not advice it's just fooling yourself. I try to help in whatever way I can I try not to judge and try to relate to a situation if I can. :) If you don't like honesty then you won't like my advice.

i like this boy who is a swimmer and he is a year older than me and he is really hot but the problem is, we have never once talked before. i'm pretty sure he doesn't even know who i am. i asked him to be my friend on facebook randomly, he goes to my school. he is not very social, and he has a twin brother who i hear is his best friend. sometimes i see him at lunch, he sits a table away from me with an asain boy (also a swimmer), and they barley talk. he is really shy. its really weird, we look at eachother sometimes and make eye contact, but thats all. we've never said hi. the people i sit with at lunch dont know i like him. i really want to say hi and talk to him or something but i dont know if he'll think im weird or something or i don't know. will he? is that weird to do? since we totally dont know eachother? were not in any classes together. i also wanna talk to him on facebook chat or something but i don't know what to say. any ideas? i saw him going into art one time and i'm in art too so i could be like hey i saw you holding a sketchbook, do you like art? but i don't know if that's weird to like randomly say. help please!!! anything will help.

okay firstly get the idea that starting a convirsation with someone is weird because its totally not! he wont find you weird,maybe he will be glad someone is taking an interest in him and being friendly?since you said he his shy,think of it this way whats the worst that can happen?he wont say hi back? (i doubt that hed have to be really ignorant to not,and if he his well then youl know not to bother in future)
Just relax and remember to be yourself,talk about anything you want with him,maybe get the convo going by using the art thing,or ask him about being on the swimteam,think of him as like any other friend of yours and talk to him about the stuff youd talk to those with get to know him establish a friendship I know it seems scary but think about it youve been making friends all your blife probably without even realising! your pro at it think of when you were really little and youd just talk to anyone like in kindergarden if you get me lol :)
