Hi i as wondering how do people get taller? i am an asain american so therefore it's a bit hard however,my whole family are around like 5'5-5'9 but i am barly 5'1.I am 15 .Female. I eat regulary and eat calcium but i dont know what to do.I am scared that i wont be able to grow anymore and be short forever,
which will really suck when i reach my 30's.
Is it also true thatgirls stop growing as soon as their period begins?

Let me tell you something, you need to love your self. I'm 5 feet talll and i'm a sexy bi**h! You better know the men love it! My aunt is beautiful and she is 5'1, when she goes in a room all the heads turn! Nia Long is a beautiful successful actress and she is only 5'2. Keshia Knight Pulliam is only 5 and 1/2 inches tall, beautiful, model, famous, the men love her. Tila Tequila is only 4'11"! and she has the most myspace views on myspace, last i heard on mtv. Judy garland was only 4'11", Reese Witherspoon 5'2", christina ricci is 5'1, lucy liu's 5'3", Rachel Leigh Cook 5'2", Hillary Duff is 5'2 (i think she's about done growing) ayumi hamasaki's the britany spears of japan is only 5'1! So you need to get with your height and love your self, cause let me tell you, unless you do some crazy yoga exercise, or have a growth spurt...that's it! hahaha CAN I GET A WITNESS! POWER TO THE SHORT AND BEAUTIFUL!================= I'm really glad you feel a bit better, i struggled with this too for a while, so i know where you are coming from :)
