Hello! I am studying esthetics at an Aveda Institute after spending years in retail. I am proof that nothing turns out how you think it will, and that's a good thing. When you think you've got it figured out, you don't. Life would be boring otherwise, right?Makeup, skincare, and psychology are my passions and I'm also happy to give advice on relationships, particularly for teenagers (so many things I wish I could have told myself a decade ago!) hey, advicenators!
so my best friend's boyfriend and i both want to throw my best friend a surprise sweet 16 party!
we have comprised the guest list and pretty much all the little details and it's going to be at her house. our other friends will kick her out of the house and take her shopping or something and we'll invite a few people over to decorate the place, then invite all the people before she gets home and surprise her! both him and i will stay late to clean up the place so that she has NO STRESS and can only concentrate on having a GREAT time.
the way we're organizing it is that we're going to have a facebook event and allow people to wall post what they want to bring (e.g., x napkins, x plates, etc.) or have the option of donating so many dollars in cash. there will be ~ 30 people there so it's not THAT huge of a party. her birthday is in january.
does anyone have any suggestions for the surprise party? there is no theme and everything will be via facebook event except the RSVPing will be "CALL THIS NUMBER TO RSVP:" and give my cell number.

Okay, there's no need to be so rude. The reason I said that was because it happened to someone I know.
That sounds great, but...I don't think it's gonna be a surprise if it's on Facebook and you're facebook friends with her.
She'll see in her news feed either that the event was created or that people are going.
Might wanna find another way to let people know.
