Okay is it true if you dont eat that your body will retain more weight even if you excersize?

Yes, from what I've been told, that's probably true. When your body is deprived of food, it goes into a starvation state. It thinks, "Yikes, food is scarce, and who knows when I'll eat again?" So the little food you DO eat, your body stores as fat right away, to be used during the time of "famine." It's much better to just eat smaller portions of healthy food on a regular basis.
