For example, if you just stop eating, your body doesn't know what to do and your metabolism slows down. Then, once you start eating again, it's slow, therefore burning less fat and retaining weight. The excercise will just harm you, as you have no fat or anything to burn off. Don't do this, it's really unhealthy and could harm your body terribly.

EDIT:
People with an eating disorder completely starve themselves, which is awful bcause it deprives you of all nutrients, vitamens, etc. They get skinny because they don't eat, but then later in life their metabolism is slower. [ LOL_x0x's advice column | Ask LOL_x0x A Question ]
Jeanne answered Sunday October 21 2007, 11:31 pm: Yes, from what I've been told, that's probably true. When your body is deprived of food, it goes into a starvation state. It thinks, "Yikes, food is scarce, and who knows when I'll eat again?" So the little food you DO eat, your body stores as fat right away, to be used during the time of "famine." It's much better to just eat smaller portions of healthy food on a regular basis. [ Jeanne's advice column | Ask Jeanne A Question ]
orphans answered Sunday October 21 2007, 10:54 pm: its extremely unwise not to eat. you can lose so much wait with eating. look at people in sports. basketball, cross country, track, wrestling. they eat very healthy (cross country eats like pigs) and they're really thin. (well wrestlers skip meals sometimes, but thats for other reasons). [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
orphans answered Sunday October 21 2007, 9:39 pm: No, you will lose weight. But what happens is your metabolism gets slowed down. So, when you do start eating again, you'll gain weight pretty fast. I hope you're not planning on doing this. It eats away your muscle and makes you look just, bad. Losing weight the healthy way is the best. :) Plus you'll look much better than you would if you starve yourself. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
