You know the band the kooks? Well how do you pronounce it? I heards this one girl say it like cooks, but i say it differently..

I'm pretty sure the band got the name from the definition of kook which is a strange/crazy person. If so, it's pronounced kuk, not cook. If you go to the website & click the pronunciation of it you can hear it.

Plus, I only heard it pronounced 'kuk'.
