Q: I know this isn't really asking for advice, but the last few days I was just thinking about this and wondering why the people here joined.

I guess it is just out of pure curiosity. I would have just posted this in the moderator forum or in the supporter discussion, but I'd rather see why everyone joined rather than just those who have been here for some time and such.

So, why did you join advicenators and why are you still here? What about the site made you want to stay?

I'll probably be one of the first people to answer this (I'm not going to answer it in the question).

I was introduced to this site and liked it right away. Most of the people who I have had the pleasure of meeting have been responsible, respectful, and helpful. I've always liked to help people with anything. Being exposed to many different people with a wide variety of situations helped broaden my spectrum and way of thinking. I also learned more about myself just from looking back to see how I helped people and what my advice was to them. Oh and it's fun too =)

I really like giving advice, so thats why I have a column here. I've been inactive for a long time, but I'm back and will do my best to catch up. Advicenators is a great site and it is what we make it. Having my own advice column helped me learn a lot of new things, even about myself, while giving me the chance to help others along the way. Thanks.
