If they did not respond to the flyer the first time, they will not respond to the flyer the second time. Unless of course they are lodging a harrassment complaint about you to your parents. ;) I really do not see why you would insist on pursuing that household any longer.
Also, I would like to take this opportunity to severly discourage you from leaving any item of any sort in any mailbox anywhere. It is illegal to tamper with a mailbox that is not yours, if you do not work for the Government. Unless you are an official mail carrier, you are committing a federal offense the second your hand reaches inside of that box. Because technically, the mailbox does not belong to the property it sits on. It belongs to the United States Postal Service. Disobeying this law could lead to fines, probation, and even jail time. They do not take that issue lightly, especially these days with all of the terrorism concerns.
