I've tried it and it works great. It makes different searches than spybot and ad aware, but worth the money. It did point out something other programs failed to catch: viewpoint. If you have installed AOL or AIM onto your computer, then chances are you have it. XoftSpySE manages to temporarily remove it from your computer, but only because it reinstalls itself on after a restart. I published an article on how to remove it if you are interested:

I like XoftSpy because it gives you details about the adware, spyware, and tracking cookies that were found in your computer. It also gives you a label as to whether or not the risk found is low or very dangerous. I recommend it, because before using spybot and ad aware, it really did speed up my computer. Whether used alone or in addition to the other programs mentioned, it gets the job done and runs well. No harm in using more than one program because some catch things the others miss.
