how hard is it to dye your hair black by yourself and are there any tips or brands that anyone could recommend?

I just dyed my hair black :)


I used whatever was on sale [bargen shopper if you will] haha. If you have dyed your hair before, use whatever brand you are most fond of.


Only things I recommend is put a towel over your sholders & wear an old shirt. Read the instrucions before you start and make sure you uderstand what to do. Take your time to. People tend to rush when they get excited. Make sure you are taking your time and getting all the parts of your hair covered. When you're all done, make sure the water runs clear. If not, keep washing your hair out until it runs clear.


The next to times you wash your hair the shampoo will have a purpleish tent too it, its normal.. and it will stop after the like first 2 washes
