Well, Copy and Scan are the same thing. I'm not sure why they call it two different names, but they both have the same end result. We have the same scanner/printer. We have the same problem. I don't know how to correct the problem so that the SCAN button works, but I know how to get around it. Go to: START CONTROL PANEL SCANNERS AND CAMERAS HP PSC 1200 SERIES Click: NEXT NEXT again save your image as the file type, name and location you'd like, and click NEXT again and it should scan. Let me know if this doesn't do the trick, or if you have any more problems or concerns. I'll do my best to be of any assistance I can. (Rating: 5) well here's the thing i cant choose "hp osc 1200 series" it doesnt exist, and also, the image isnt on my computer, what im trying to do is to get a regular picture and scn it so that i can save it on my computer..
