hp psc 1210 all-in-one SCANNER
ok ive figured out how to use both the printer and then copier - but how the heck do you scan? i tried just putting a picture in there and pressing SCAN, but nothing happened.
so how do you use it?
is there any online manuals (that are EASY to understand??)

I have the same printer and if you want to scan onto the computer you have to go to control panel>>scanners and cameras and follow the on screen instructions. If you want to copy like a copier machine, then hit scan then the start button on the printer. I hope that helps.

Well, Copy and Scan are the same thing. I'm not sure why they call it two different names, but they both have the same end result.
We have the same scanner/printer. We have the same problem. I don't know how to correct the problem so that the SCAN button works, but I know how to get around it.
Go to:
START
CONTROL PANEL
SCANNERS AND CAMERAS
HP PSC 1200 SERIES
Click:
NEXT
NEXT again
save your image as the file type, name and location you'd like,
and click NEXT again
and it should scan.
