Last year I got felt up by a guy I don't know. It really screwed me up.
I finally talked about it, and the whole dirty feeling is back.
I can't get myself feeling clean.
Is there any way to help this???
thanks,
~RoSe~

Were you young at the time when you got felt up? I know it'd be traumatizing at any age, but if you were 13, I could understand better. Its normal to feel dirty if you LET him do it or didnt let him do it and it was totally against your will. It was a sexual act, and mostly everyone feels completely weird and guilty their first time. Cause? Maybe the bible, if your religious. But, it could just be your hormones raging. If you are at the ages of 12-18, you are still going through puberty and your body (and mind) is still reacting to things weirdly. You may feel like youre on a roller coaster. One day youre fine, and the next day you cry and you dont even know why. Tell yourself it was one time and it wont happen again. It is NOT your fault, you are NOT a bad person, you have no reason to feel guilty! If this doesnt work, I very much advise you to talk to a guidance counselor or therapist about this. Good luck.

I did, but it didn't help. My therapist was for kids, and didn't do anything that really helped me feel better.
