mkay. i'm trying to lose weight over the summer. like 10-15 pounds. and what im trying to do everydayis eat a salad for lunch not too much crap for dinner and a 90 calorie chewy bar for breakfast or 100calorie yogurt for breakfast. and then everyday im trying to do a lot of situps and 50 pushups and im trying to go for a bike ride everyday. now its rly hard for me to do all this. the situps/pushups i can do; the bike ride i cant do a lot because i travel so much in the summer and the eating right is SO hard for me because i love to eat but im rly trying..is there anything else you can suggest for me to do to lose weight this summer and it has to be something i can do anywhere (even out of the country; however when i go to spain there is a gym in at least one of the hotels so i'm good there ill just go to the gym) please and thanks.
I'm glad that you're taking the action to lose weight instead of putting it aside. You need to exercise and eat healthy. Breakfast if very important. You can't just eat a chewy bar and/or yogurt. Your body needs the protein and fiber to get you ready for the day. Try these diet plans. Simply changing what you eat can make big changes. For example, try getting 'light' versions of things that you like to eat. Examples ;; Butter/Margarine, Sour Cream, Diet Soda [[ that doesn't mean that you can have soda every day ]], ect. Remember to stick to your diet. Check labels. If the item has more than 180 calories, and more than 2 grams of saturated fat, then its not good for you. Go by the suggested serving size. It's all about portions.
Diet 1 ;;
Breakfast --
1 cup cereal with 1/2 cup soy mlk
1 banana
1 cup lite yogurt
Lunch -
Salad with grilled chicken and fat free dressing
Dinner -
1 medium baked chicken breast
1/2 cup white rice
Steamed or Baked vegetables
Snacks --
Strawberries
OR
2 Handfuls of Pretzels
OR
2 Handfuls of Microwave Popcorn
Diet 2 ;;
Breakfast --
2 Scrambled Eggs
1 Slice Wheat Bread with Light Margarine
1 spoonful of light jam
Lunch -
Healthy Choice frozen entree
OR
Turkey Sandwich with an apple or carrots
Dinner -
8-oz. steak with steamed vegetables
OR
Salad with turkey lunch meat and low-cal dressing
Snacks --
Handful of Almonds
OR
2 Oranges
OR
1 Can Diet Soda
I used to eat Lunchables every day when I didn't have enough time to cook something for lunch. Guess what? I just got into nutrition label checking. One lunchable has FOUR HUNDRED AND SEVENTY CALORIES and SEVEN grams of saturated fat. I started eating Healthy Choice frozen foods instead of Lunchables. They taste better and they're very delicious. They have many varities of the frozen foods. Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna, Sesame Chicken, Enchilada with Rice, ect.
Hope I helped!
