Well I'm going swimming tomorrow. Today I had my period for the first time and I tried a tampon. It was really hard to get out. I tried pulling it out in different directions and I tried like half a box of tampons and I'm pretty sure it's in correctly. The string almost broke when i tried to pull it out it hurts. My parents wont let me get in the water without a tampon and i cant sneak in without one because they check to make sure im not lying. Oh and ive tried the lowest absorbensy and lubricant stuff still doesnt help. Please help!
Okay, well, I think you're using the wrong tampons. If you use the regular ones, don't. Have you tried the 'junior' and 'slender' tampons? They're designed for first time users like you. You should try those out. Maybe you can put some lubricant on the tampon when you slide it inside because maybe you're pushing too hard.
