My name is Jen, I go to school, and occasionally learn things. I love James Dean, Hanson, Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings by Megan McCafferty, Fall Out Boy, Elton John and Billy Joel. These make me overly qualified to give advice ESPECIALLY since I spend the vast majority of my time watching and obsesing over Oprah.
I've been through some stuff, and watched even more drama on TV, so I can help with your problems, no matter what your story is Wishbone.

This question was extremely long, explaining the whole situation, I decided that you guys don't need all of the details. A friend of mine is currently pregnant, the baby is due the second week of May. Her baby shower will be May 2nd and I need some ideas of what to get. She already has just about everything you could buy for a baby. It's going to be a girl, and I want something that won't cost too much over $20 because she isn't my best friend in the world, but she is a good person. They already have bottles, toys, diapers, blankets, and the works. What are some things that a baby girl can never have too much of, just in case I get something that somebody else (or the parents) have already bought?
I'm 15/f, so is she, but she'll be 16. The baby's dad is 19, still in the picture, and the mom and dad are getting married once my friend turns 16 in July. Please no lectures on that, she's already talked to one of the parenting teachers here, her mom, and guidance and all sorts of people. I just need some ideas for a baby shower gift. Thanks in advance. (link)

if she's registered anywhere, you can check that.
A good idea might be a gift certificate somewhere, like Walmart or Target or Babies R Us. That way if she does run out of something, she has that extra cash laying around for emergencies, or special treats.
Or you might want to buy her clothes for when the baby is older. Most people will probably get her clothes for a newborn, but babies grow fast, so she'll need older clothes soon enough.

Thanks, good advice, I don't think she's registered anywhere, but thanks for the help with your other ideas.
