Q: Okay this is directed to Republicans/those who support President Bush (Don't take this as my attempt to bash anybody or any political group, I'm merely curious...also dont take this as me generalizing, I'm not saying EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN believes all these)

1. Do you honestly, truly believe that in the short term the Iraq War's main purpose is to liberate Iraquis, or to preserve a stable oil supply from the Middle East?

2. How can you say that it is completely and utterly unethical to allow a woman to have control over her body and have an abortion, while at the same time supporting that the state does away with prisoners with the Death Penalty?

3. Do you think homosexuals were born inferior to heterosexuals and do not deserve the same rights as them simply because of whom they choose to love?

4. Why do you believe that responding to terrorism by reducing the freedom of Americans is anything other than giving the terrorists exactly what they want?

5. Why are antiwar protesters deemed unpatriotic, but pro-war people praised?

Again, my goal is not to offend anybody. I just want honest opinions.

A: To address your inquiries:

1. How could anyone be so silly as to even *suggest* that is Bush's reason for being in Iraq? I certainly do not believe that is the reason he started the war.

2. An unborn child is innocent, completely innocent. A women has control over her body, yes, but the baby is not *her* body. That baby is an innocent soul that feels pain and is very much alive. I am unsure about the death penalty; however, those who are on death row have been put there because they've committed crimes "worthy" of that punishment.

3. I certainly do NOT believe this. Homosexuals are on the absolute same level as heterosexuals and should be treated as such, and given most, if not all, of the same rights.

4. What do you mean by reducing the freedom of Americans? What freedoms have been reduced?

5. I am not pro-war, though I do support our troops and I hope to have them all safely home soon. I am against anti-war protesters because they dishonor those who are fighting and have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. What a shame it is for a soldier to give his life selflessly to protect the freedoms of others to have his honor stripped from him because he died for an "unjust cause." Honor those who are fighting and those who have given their lives by supporting them while they're over there.

Those are my opinions. I know many people on this site may not be particularly fond of them, but there you have it. =)

Although I don't agree with many of your opinions, I respect most of them. Anyhoo I wasnt asking people to convince me, I was just curious :)
