My boyfriend wants to have sex. I think I love him, but I just don't feel ready yet. How can I tell him and not lose him?

First off....What kind of Boyfriend would leave you for saying you dont want to get your groove on? That right there would make me wonder about the strenght of the relationship, and wonder what is the point of it....

Second. You SHOULD NOT have sex when you "think" you love someone. I mean....come on! Ill use murder as an example to this. (seeing as murder is the answer for everything.... JUST KIDDING. DONT MURDER ANYONE, ANYBODY!)

You can murder someone for "thinking" they cheated on you, but then later you come to find out they never did. You cant ever take that back, and you will regret it for the rest of your shortened life.

Its like that. You "think" you love him...you play the dirty, you regret it, and you can never take it back. save yourself woman! Save yourself!!!!

However...since I often give speeches before a real answer, it is time for the real answer! yay! *jumps for joy then grabs a soda*

The best way to tell someone something is straight up....g....

Simply say "Look bra. I am not ready for this, and I want to wait for this to go down. I want to make sure this is what I want...what WE want. I dont want to get it on, when we are in the heat of things. I want it to be special and filled with candles, and almond joys."

If he is any kind of freaking awesome boyfriend he will understand and never pressure you into it. If he is a jackass, like most boys are, then he wont respect it, and youll have to send him on the road of singleness.
