I found a pipe and a lighter in my brother's draw. I was furious because I'm am strongly against smoking. He's in college...I understand he's old enough to make his own descisions, but he has a lot going for him and I don't want him to screw up his future....What are the possibilities of what he was smoking? Like weed..tobacco?And, is there a site that has the bad effects of it, or if you guys can list some that will convince him to stop, I would appreciate it!
To tell what he was smoking, smell the pipe. Pipe tobacco usually has a woody, wholesome aroma. Pot has a very distinct smell that I can't really describe. If it was hidden, I would think it might be pot, unless your family is very anti-smoking, then it could be either. Also, a pipe for weed is usually small and narrow, with a metal bowl. A pipe for tobacco usually has a large bowl, and is normally made of wood.
If you talk to your brother a lot, let him know how you feel, and how much you want him to quit.

I told him and he gets annoyed that I won't shut up about it. I'm not going to smell that crap though l0l.Thanks though.
