advice

does anyone know any good products or home remedies to get rid of dark circles?? thanks... i rate high

Here are a few ideas that I got from doing a search on MSN.

How To Conceal Dark Circles

There is only one way to get rid of dark circles or discoloration under the eyes instantly use a product that covers them up. A lighter shade of regular makeup wont do the job. It must be a lighter shade of makeup made with Mica and Bismuth Oxychloride, which reflects light in your dark areas. The consistency of this special makeup should be lightweight and not oily, so as not to cause a build up of oil in any lines that may be in this area. Apply evenly and sparingly. I use a small makeup brush to apply it as the brush helps smooth it out evenly. You can apply a dark dircle cover directly on the skin itself or over a make up base. Whichever you do, make sure you powder over lightly. This sets the concealer, keeps it from settling into fine lines and gives it a more natural, finished appearance.
Chamomile, and particularly the Camillosan chamomile extract, has demonstrated anti inflammatory action in German studies and even proved comparable in effect to hydrocortisone in treating eczema type skin conditions, according to Commission E Monographs (Derma Es Aloe and Chamomile Skin Soothing Moisturizer are recommended products). Horse chestnut seed extract and vitamin K strengthen the capillaries, and they also show promise as anti-swelling agents (Ester C and K Creme Plus by Jason Natural Cosmetics are recommended products). Dip black tea bags briefly in boiling water, then cool and apply to your eyes.

How to get rid of dark circles permenantly:

Dark circles under the eyes are often related to toxicity in the body. Detoxification of the body, especially the liver, could be helpful. Lack of sleep, allergic reactions to foods, drinks or fabrics, too much alcohol and nutrient deficient diets can cause dark eye circles. Eating foods that are high in vitamins, proteins and blood purefiers(beets) can help you avoid a host of dermotological problems. Lightly tap, with one or two fingers, on and around these areas a few times a day. This will help stimulate needed circulation. Moreover, if you improve your nutritional intake, this tapping will also bring richer blood to these tiny blood vessels. Use an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid cream under the eyes to encourage circulation and stimulation of cells. (Do not put the Alpha-Hydroxy too close to the eye itself, as your eyes may tear, and never on eyelids). This also aids in tightening of the skin itself, which will give the appearance of lighter circles as the AHA plumps up the tissues. Use a rich Eye Cream to nourish these delicate tissues at night.
