my rat has been loosing a lot of weight lately. i know rats have respratory problems,but their is no sign of blood in his nose or mouth. he gets plenty to eat and seems very happy.if you have any ideas what could be wrong please let me know. thanks.
Well, I had a rat too but she has died. If he is getting skinyer maybe its getting more exercise. Or hes just not eating. Another sign is he might be getting older now..To the point where he might die..(im sorry :'() but anyhow take it to the vet and see what he/she says...I hope everythings ok.
(Rating: 5) thanks. i bought him from a pet store because he was older and no one wanted him, so maybe he is just getting older. lately he's been active too. i think i will look around for a good vet.
