Hello, my conflict is to find out what kind've laptop would be good for me. I wanted to use it to store school stuff on it, play a few computer games and just use it as a personal computer for myself. My price range is $600-1200. you should get a macbook for about 1000 dollars they're really fast and office 2004 for mac has a lot of features that office 2003 for windows doesn't have that come in very handy with school

i noe that nobody LIKES going to school, but i seriously dread it! what are some things that i can do to make school a little more.... fun?? i mean, like i could join a sport, but they dont have a chearleading squad at my school, so i go somewhere else, and i take ballet after school too... and i do outside school activities.... but what kind of things could i do IN SCHOOL that could help make it just a little more exiting?? thanks so much!

i used to dread going to school but i found a few tips that helped me to like it better
1) in the morning, when you wake up, tell yourself that today is gonna be a good day. if you keep telling that to yourself, you will have a good day.
2) in a boring class, pass notes or tell jokes to your friends
3) in a very boring class, organize with your friends things to do that will make your class more enjoyable. for example, i used to HATE science class, it was so boring. but i organized things with my friends to do everyday, such as whenever the teacher turned to write something on the board, we all stood up, and when she turned back, we all sat down.
4) try singing. singing makes you and the people around you more happy
5) smile a lot. smiles are free, so give them away!

Here's the deal: I love singing. I've been singing since 4th grade and I've been in choirs since 5th. I haven't taken voice lessons.

Now, I want to sing a song for a talent show, but my only problem is... MY VOICE IS HORRIBLE. I have experience, but it's just the way it SOUNDS, do you know what I mean?

I recorded my voice on my cell phone, and I got so depressed at the way it sounds.

What can I do? Will singing lessons help at all? Thanks!

if you record it on your cell phone, it will not sound like it is realistic, and it will always sound worse then your real voice. also, almost everyone hates the sound of their own voice. if you really are a bad singer, then singing lessons will help

I really want a boyfriend. I've had one before but he was unreliable and I'd like someone better. With Valintine's (sp?) Day coming up I really want this to be my chance. Well there are two guys I like and I'm going to use letters so if you don't like it don't answer it.

So my question is which guy should I go for? Which do you think is more worth it? Should I forget about both of them?
