Yesterday I got my top ear pierced and the piercer said to wash it, blah blah blah. But he said not to twist it because it's bad for the healing process. And people are telling me to twist it when I clean it to keep it clean.
I got the same spot on my other ear pierced last year, and when it was in it's healing process and I twisted it I nearly had to take it out because it got infected really badly. I thought it got pierced wrong but it could be from twisting
To twist or to not twist?
When i got mine pierced, they told me to twist it when i cleanse it to help get the solution in the hole and around the earring. i did and its never gotten infected.. i also did my other cartlige myself and did the same thing, and no probs.
ive always heard that you should, but if you went to a professional place with a good rep and the piercer told you not to, then just go with what he/she said. if you want clarification, call back up there and ask.

Heyy I got my bellybutton pierced almost a year ago and I found it only hurt when the barbell was put in but I didnt have a good experience! Anyways, I want my tongue pierced and I was wondering how bad that hurt!
i personally dont have mine because i think it would hurt like noones business.. but, i know about 5 people with it done, and they all said it didnt hurt at all. if anything, they said its just hard to talk and sore while eating and junk for about a week, but the needle doesnt cause any pain.
who knows though, but thats what they all said.
oh, and just fyi in reference to what tina said, a piercer hitting a nerve can cause you to lose your speech & taste ability. and the hole closes up in as little as an hour when you dont have in any jewelry.

But I don't have blonde hair. What brand of temporary hair color works best on dark hair? What product should I get?

Manic Panic is good.. and im pretty sure its available in semipermanent [about 8-10 shampoos] or permanent. its available at Hot Topic, as well as another brand that i forget the name but is also good.
Also, the Sally Beauty Store has semipermanent & permanent color you could use.
If you have medium to dark hair, you'll most likely have to bleach the part you want to color, unless you have some really really good dye or just dont want it to show up too bright.

i respect those who wait until marriage, because i think its a good idea, but im not all "definitely wait until youre married". i think a good age would be about 17-18 so youre old enough to make a mature decision & know the consequences. also, i think sex in a casual dating relationship is lame.. i think itd be more appropriate in a serious relationship.

it doesnt hurt at all. i have 2 and did one myself. its just a small pinch. i cant compare it to a lobe piercing because i dont remember mine [i was 3 and 10 years old]. just be careful not to get it caught when washing or brushing your hair, or changing clothes, because if it gets hung and pulls, itll hurt. im pretty sure its 8 weeks before you can change it.
I have a problem. Whenever i find out that a guy likes me i get sorta scared. i mean i want guys to ask me out, but im either afraid to say no, or dont have the guts to say yes, even if i do like him. I want guys to like me but i just need guts and confidence & of course advice.
One word: Relax! If a guy asks you out, of course you`ll be sort of nervous, but think about it.. if he asks you out, he must like you, so therefore he'd want you to say yes, so just go for it if you like him back! it could end up being a really good, fun relationship. if you dont like him, just say something like "thats really sweet, but i kind of have my eye on someone else [even if you dont] and i think me and you would be better as friends for awhile". yeah, itll hurt, but thats life. everyone gets hurt sometimes, but they get over it. dont feel bad. i thought id be the same way, but when i guy asked me out and i knew i didnt like him and never would, i had no problem saying no. and guess what, he's wayyy over it. lol. most guys arent like girls anyway, theyre not gonna be burned and depressed forever. theyll hop right back up in a weeks time. just be friendly and open up, and im sure youll be fine. good luck =]
Did you use photobucket or another image hosting site to put your pic on your page? I use the code from photobucket and it works at first and then turns to a red x after a little while. So, how do you do it?
yeah, i used photobucket. hmm, maybe your bandwidth is exceded? try saving it as a different file name, then upload it into photobucket again, and on here again. if that doesnt work, it could just be your computer screwin up. right click it and go to "show picture". if that doesnt work, then i really dont know. ha. sorry, i hope that helps!

I am so annoyed. I always have acne. It is like..constant break outs, and it never stops. I dont know what else to do. I have tried everything from clearasil, neutrogena, clean and clear, differin, duac, tea tree oil, clinique 3 step skin care, olay, and alot more. I usually break out around the T zone, my chin, and forehead..basically everywhere. Please dont give me amateur advice. Like..drink plenty of water and get a lot of sleep ( I do anyways. ) Also please dont recommend products that you have never tried. Please recommend what you think will REALLY work for me. And also please don't tell me not to wear makeup because I cant stand to see myself without the acne covered up. I need a moisturizer also because if I dont use it before I put makeup on, than it looks cakey. But that may be because I have big pores in the spots that it looks cakey. Any help for big pores? I would really appreciate your advice

Dont cry if ProActiv doesnt work, because it didnt for me, and you sound like me.
Go to the derm. Ask about Accutane or Minocycline. ive always heard wonderful things about Accutane as far as results, however it can result in serious side effects, even suicidal behavior in some cases, and its mandatory to be put on at least 1 if not 2 birth controls while taking it. Minocycline isnt as strong, but works well, and doesnt have such serious side effects. Im on it and it seems to be doing great.
Also, it could be your make up. Definitely dont wear Neutrogena, MaxFactor, or Covergirl. Straight from the mouth of my derm. Try Almay. it gives the same look but is much better for your face. And be sure to wash your face at least every night to get rid of make up. Its extremely tedious but is half your problem if you dont.
And i dont know if this works, but just a tip, make sure you wash pillow cases about once a week or two, and rub the mouth and ear areas of phones with alcohol the same. Bacteria build up there, so you`ll want to avoid it.

So I asked him if he was okay with what he did and he was like "are you okay" But I don't know....
I feel like he is sending me mixed signals, and that he isnt sure of what he wants, but I think if we continue to fool around it is just going to make everything worse. I'm not ready to move on to someone else, but I...oh idk...advice please?
move on. even though you said you dont want to, you basically dont have a choice. a relationship is 2 people, and he's already voted himself out, so theres nothing left for you to do. by sticking around and hanging out like yall did watchin the movie and foolin around, youre giving him a "toy" so to speak and youre only giving yourself false hope that just maybe he`ll realize he wants you back, although he has clearly said he doesnt. back off, and make him really question whether or not he wants you by basically keeping yourself out of his life, for the most part. if he decides he wants you back, then great! if not, then he's not worth the time or energy. oh and for the record, dont change yourself for him or any other guy. if he doesnt appreciate you for the way you are, then it's his loss. good luck!

oh my god, seriously, what has the world come to...? i read a question on here and a girl had sex at 10 YEARS OLD. i was watching the news a couple of hours ago and an 8 YEAR OLD HAD SEX. yes, an 8 year old. i didn't even think 8 year olds knew what sex meant! on the internet news a 12 year old had sex and killed her own child because she said she wasn't ready for a kid. really, what's wrong with the world? why are people having sex at such a young age? do any of you agree that this is absolutatly crazy?
i totally agree. honestly the younger generations [even mine, im 16]is soo messed up. people just need a good slapping. at my school, 2 freshman were caught having sex on the stairs. i realize thats older than 8 and 10 years old, but honestly, ON THE SCHOOL STAIRS??? how desperate and lame is that? people are so public about it now. i mean, maybe its just me, but if i were having sex, i wouldnt want 1700 students to be able to walk around a corner and see me doing it. and i dont know what is in these 8 year olds minds. thats just terrible. down right terrible. and i so dont understand how people can have sex in classrooms, at football games, on buses... that just blows my mind.
