Q: id really like to get my thighs and butt bigger with muscle before school starts, august 18th. ive tried a lot of different things, but the only problem is i have spinal and lower back problems and the excersizes sometimes irritate it a lot. what are some good excersizes i can do daily that wont really hurt my back and get my thighs and butt in shape before school starts ?
or at least certain amount of reps
and i gain weight on top mostly (boobs and stomach) but is there anythin that i can eat that will go straight down there ?

for info, ive done:
squats
leg lifts (where you put your leg back and your butt becomes sort of like a bubble)
layin down and movin my legs in a cyclin motion
tai-bo moves

Q: I wanna know everyones' opinions on age differences in relationships. Mind you, this is out of total curiosity, as a friend of mine and I were discussing this the other day. So I just want to know what you think, like, how big of a difference is too much, and what not.

Age is just a number to me. But, I would say, for instance..if you're 14 years old dating a 19 year old..that's not only illegal but it's definitely a huge age difference. The 14 year old would still be in his/her early years of high school, meanwhile the 19 year old is most likely in college and has a job. In those kinds of situations, especially since the person is 14 and the other is 19, I would say age does matter. However, the case is different when both people are over 18. I mean, my parents are 4 1/2 years apart. And, my grandparents are 5 years apart. I guess, my answer is close to everyone elses..as long as it's legal, it's fine.. and it doesn't matter how old each of you are.

Q: I don't know why,but my love life is a disaster.I don't know why I don't have a boyfriend.I am good-looking and smart,also a nice and friendly person,but no guy seems interested in me.No matter how hard I try no one likes me.So,the question is-what am I doing wrong?Is it me or something else?

Honestly, it's not you! A lot of girls I know have that problem. It's the guys. Younger guys tend to go for girls who are "easy". Many guys, especially at your age, aren't interested in anything but sex. For instance, guys may think you're pretty and smart and everything..but they'll go for a girl who has no confidence and would easily have sex with them. You don't want that, it's a guys way of taking advantage of you. There's nothing wrong with you at all. I even had the same problem. One day you will find a guy who loves you for you. Don't ever settle for less! It's good to be confident in yourself! Don't be depressed..a lot of people even wait until after high school to have a boyfriend..less drama and everything. But, if you want a boyfriend..why not try asking a guy you like out? It's worth a try. Some guys prefer when women ask them out. It makes the guys feel better that they don't have to do all the work. Just remember, it's not the end of the world if you don't have a boyfriend!

Could anyone list any good reasons why a guy would completely ignore a girl out of nowhere? Like this guy has known I liked him for several months andwe barely talked about it but we texted each other a couple of times and he truly made it seem like we were still good friends and out of nowhere he started ignoring me..it's been two weeks now. And he told my friend that it's because I'm boring and annoying but it really doesn't add up because in the conversations we had he was holding up the conversation more than I was, and it's relatively easy to tell when someone is annoyed with you and he wasn't. I did nothing wrong and I'm trying to move on from him but it's hard to when I have no idea what his issue is and he won't speak (I only texted him the first day it's started, and twice two weeks later, which is like friday and today. what I'm trying to say is I know my limit, I'm not nagging him to answer me). Also he completely freaked at my friend for telling me some of the things she told me he said about me (long story how he found out), like he completely FREAKED, and hes still mad now but he still is actually responding to her when she speaks to him...so if I did nothing wrong, why is he ignoring me? We've been past the fact that he knows I like him for a couple months, and that we were just friends. And me being annoying, and I admit i can be at times, hasn't stopped anyone from talking to me? And he's talking to someone that he's even angrier with? I mean he does tend to deal with things by not talking about them at all, but this is just ridiculous. It's just a really confusing frustrating situation and it seems simple to just move on and get over it but when someone is completely ignoring you out of the blue like that and you can't understand why its just not easy to. We were good friends and he was TRULY acting like it in the conversations we had before he started ignoring me. Can I just get some reasons of why someone would do this? Postive or negative, hurtful or logical, anything, just list anything you think could make sense.

The fact that he didn't ignore your friend, but he ignored you..is very odd. He said you're annoying and boring..that's just extremely rude and shows a lack of respect for you. However some reasons besides the 'annoying and boring' is: It's possible he developed feelings for someone else and is ignoring you because he doesn't want to hurt you, He may want to play hard to get, or maybe he does have feelings for you and doesn't know how to act on them. Now, I'm not sayng those are the reasons! I'm just giving examples. If I were you, I'd try to get in touch with him and ask him what his problem is. I'm honestly not sure why he became a total jerk..but, I have a feeling he just isn't interested and is ignoring you to get the point across. Find a guy who doesn't treat you like this. This guy has no respect at all.

Q: i just bought an ipod touch, and i was wondering if anyone could give me some helpful information about it, like experiences you had with it, and things i should be careful and stuff, i know the basics, but yeah, i just want to know any helpful information you have, about apps, itunes, ipod touch, etc. :)

I got the new version of the iTouch last October. My advice: get a cover for it! I dropped mine once on a floor and it cracked on the upper part of the screen. It's very fragile. It is also hard to repair, if you do it yourself. So, be careful :). Not sure if you know this but you can also download games on it by going through iTunes and purchasing them (I usually go for the free ones..which aren't that bad!). You normally don't have to charge the iTouch often..unless you use it 24/7. The games, and internet use up most of the battery. You can only use the internet on iTouch if you have Wi-Fi. Also, if you hold your finger on one of the apps long enough..they will start to "shake", allowing you to rearrange them, when you're done with that..just press that circular button on the bottom of the iTouch. Besides all of that, I'd have to say I pretty much love this ipod! it's very fun to use, and I'm pretty sure you'll never get bored of it.

Q: I am sure I went to bed at 1am last night. About 2pm today, I found out that I had called one of my friends on the phone at 3:30am, but I don't remember calling and I know I hung up when I heard the voicemail because she didnt get a voicemail and she didn't answer the phone because she was sleeping >

Calling someone while your sleeping..is like sleepwalking. Many people aren't even sure why these things happen. It can be something you're wanting to say subconsciously (which would also explain the talking during sleeping). I have a friend who used to talk in her sleep all the time..it was because her parents were going through a nasty divorce, and although she never showed her anger, it showed during her sleep. I, also, have "sleep texted" people sometimes. It happens to many, so don't think you're odd or anything. I'm honestly not sure why you'd call your friend, especially since she's not even on speed dial. Who knows..maybe you woke up for a little while and called her? You should bring this up to your parents or even a doctor. They could probably help you!

Well, I can't give you step by step instructions..every guy is different. I don't want to tell you to do stuff he may not like. Ask him what he wants you to do. That's the best way to go about it. Just make sure you're ready, and old enough, to do this.

Q: last night, we were up late together in person.
we started a small argument about wanting and not wanting to do sexual things with each other. then he began to cry (which he rarely does) and said that he was sorry for forcing me to do something i didn't want to. i told him it was alright, but he didn't believe me.
so today, he didn't answer my text for about 20 minutes and i was like, alright that's fine. then he texted me - "baby, i'm so sorry i didn't text you back quicker. i'm such an asshole, i should have paid more attention." i was like, what? o.O because i didn't care that he didn't reply ASAP. i can live without him texting me within 20 minutes.

Well, that "not wanting to do certain sexual things" talk made him feel guilty because, as he said, he's sorry for forcing you to do something you didn't want to. You also said he didn't believe your apology..well, being clingy is his way of gettting forgivness from you. Talk to him about it, ask him why he's being like this all the sudden. I'm not certain..but I believe the whole forcing thing is a reason for this. But, I don't know him. So, your best bet would be to ask him yourself!

It's Drake's voice all throughout the song. If you listen closely..you can hear that it is still him. His voice just get's a higher pitch to it. If you look at this page of the lyrics..it doesn't say anyone else sings the song.

Q: ok. i will try to make this as unconfusing as i can. i like this boy but he doesn't talk to me. i know he likes me though because i gave him a note that said i liked him and he wrote one back saying he likes me a lot but he cant talk to me because he gets to nervous. i on the other hand have done everything, i called him first, wrote a note first, emailed first. he admitted to my friend that he needs to put effort in but he doesn't know how. lately i feel like I've been losing him. he used to look at me and my friend said the looks he gives me are like I'm the most important thing in his life and i don't get those looks anymore, in my opinion. like, i would take a bullet for him and i feel like I'm falling in love alone but I'm not looking to let go of him yet. also, we both attended a party where someone of my group heard him saying he never liked me to begin with but he gave me a note saying he did. It's possible he's extremely shy around you. You gave him a note saying you liked him, and he said he liked you too..well, although he gets too nervous..that doesn't mean he shouldn't try talking to you and get to know you. Very odd. Anyway, first of all, if you were to get in to a relationship with this guy..you'd be the one initiating everything. I'm not saying it's a bad thing..in the beginning you won't mind..but after a while, it'd get annoying. If he doesn't put any effort in to it..that's ridiculous. It should be 50/50. However, it is possible he feels you and him will go no where because he is too shy around you. I know it sounds stupid..but, some guys give up on things if they don't have the guts to pursue it. He's obviously too shy to ask you out or anything..so it's possible he's trying to move on or he's waiting for you. I don't see how he could lose his interest that fast though. The fact that he said he never liked you is extremely rude and hurtful. But, he could've said it because he was around friends? You never know the full story. But, regardless of why he exactly said it..it should've never been said in the first place! (if he actually did say it). Honestly, you're afraid of losing him..well, you need to re-think this guy over. If you really want him that bad..you need to talk to him face to face. Get to know him and stuff. But, as far as it goes with the "never liking you" part..I would confront him on this and ask. Tell him what your friend said and everything. See what he has to say to defend himself. He either said it, or didn't. Some rumor's aren't even true so keep that in mind!

Q: In these past 3 days my left boob sometimes hurts and I noticed that it is bigger than the right one (which is normal). I don't think it is due to my period as I got it 19 days ago. My neck and part of my back on the left side also hurt. Could be a muscle strain, a breast cancer or just my left boob is growing?

When I touch both boobs hurt a bit, but only the left one sometimes hurts without touching it.

Breasts can hurt due to anything, I wouldn't worry much about it. Breasts can be sore due to menstration, stress, and also them growing. Most of the time, breast hurt because of pmsing and/or them growing. Although you are 20, they can still be growing. The left side of your back/neck most likely hurts due to the left breast being bigger. This may help you out a little..

A very close friend of mine and I fooled around together two weeks ago, a week after he confessed his love to me. He was my first boyfriend. We made the mistake of going out when we didn't really know each other so once the relationship ended we decided to remain friends and became really close. I've never felt so close to someone before. Last week, a couple of days after we fooled around, he went to visit his family in Florida for a month and never even texted me once untill last night. After what we did and how close we were, you can imagine how hurt I was that he never even contacted me for a week. I felt like he did the "hit it and quit it" thing with me. So he finally texts me last night and we began talking about his trip, and the people when he happens to mention that he met his old girlfriend and that they had a super long hug together and that they missed each other and that he apparently "texts her all the time". The only thing that broke them up was him moving to Cali. I would have never done what we did with someone who I liked as "just a friend" so I finally asked him, "What are we?" and "What am I to you?" He said he didn't understand the question and then after a few seconds said that i was "a really close friend who knows him pretty freakin well lol". I feel really hurt right now because honestly...he said he loved me. Was I being used? What does he mean "I love you"? I feel like he just said it to take advantage but at the same time don't want to believe it because I really do think good of him...I really thought that I was more than a friend to him and...idk, I just feel...really really stupid. Stupid and hurt. So basically I'm sort of in need of any advice on how to handle this and basically how to address this problem of mine. I feel terrible because i really honestly thought he loved me. So yeah, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The mistake you made was having sex with a good friend. Yes, although, you guys did go out for a little while and broke up, some guy do get bored with the relationship because they got what they wanted already. He obviously is not over his ex girlfriend at all. Maybe before you had sex you should've asked him questions abour himself. Anyway, he did pretty much use you. It's possible he didn't mean to, but he did. I know it hurts to just be called 'a friend' when you've had sex and stuff with the guy..but that's how some guys are. He seems like a good guy, but he's not ready for a relationship of any type. By him saying he texted his ex girlfriend all the time, and that they only broke up because he moved..is definitely a sign of him not being over her at all. I would talk to him in person, not texting, and tell him how you feel about the situation. He's probably not aware that you're angry that he views you as just a friend. When you talk to him make sure you mention about the whole sex thing, and his ex girlfriend stuff. If you want to still remain his friend, go ahead. It's not a bad thing. But, it may bother you because he hurt you. So you need to decide that. But, I would definitely talk to him if I was you. Let him know how you feel so you can get it off your chest, and let him know that he hurt you a lot.

Q: I just have a few quick questions on tampons. I have used them before, once or twice. I was in gym one day and one of the girls had told me that if I use a tampon in the water, there is a chance the tampon will absorb some water from the pool. Is this true? With a regular tampon? And is there any chance I'll leak in the pool? With a regular tampon?

Also, I've tried a few times to look up TSS online, but I really don't understand it. Can you please explain it to me a bit?

Tampon's can't absorb the water in a pool. And, I wouldn't reccomend going in the water while you have your period! It is dangerous to other's around you due to the blood.

So a few weeks ago i found a 'lump' inside my vagina (sorry if that's gross to hear). i'm not sure WHAT it is, it's long and pretty thin and hard. it doesn't hurt, and it's hard to describe where it is but it's on the wall inside, parallel to the clitoris. you can't really see it, and i have a gyno appointment scheduled for next week. i've heard it could be a cyst,a boil, or an ingrown hair .. could it be a tumor? i'm really scared to hear news i don't want to hear, but i've been researching and a lot of women/girls get them?

I'm honestly not sure what it could be. It is very good you're going to the gyno next week because this is something you should get checked out. However, I looked online and a lot of woman do get them. But, they all said they go away often. Yes, It could be an ingrown hair (happens often). And, it could be a cyst (those sometimes don't hurt). Doubtful it's a boil though.

Q: This spring I was with a girl for about 4 months. Before school ended I broke up with her; I still liked her a lot, but our relationship was messing things up with me and my friends, school work, etc...I just felt that she felt more strongly for me than I did for her and that I should end things.

Well I miss her, a lot. And now I'm wishing I hadn't ended things. We're still friends, we're on good terms now but I know that I really hurt her this spring, and I know that after I broke up with her she wanted to get back together.

What should I do? Would I be a total ass hole for asking her if she wanted to try things out again... and I don't want to totally embarrass myself if I find out she doesn't even like me anymore. I'm not sure what to do. Help? Should I just IM her or call her? Or just wait till school starts up again....

You wouldn't be a jerk or anything if you asked her to try things again. You never know what she'll say..but if you like her that much, it's worth trying. It wouldn't matter if you did it now or during school. Try calling her and tell her to meet you somewhere (best thing to do). Tell her that you're sorry you broke up with her..and explain to her all of what you said in your question, meaning the part about thinking she felt more for you than you did for her, etc. Making sure she know's you're sorry is the most important thing. Tell her how you feel, and tell her you just miss her! She SHOULD understand everything. You said you can tell she still wanted to be together after you broke up, I'm sure she was a little mad at you..but since you're still friends with eachother and everything, it's possible those feelings never left.
