other than limewire, how else can i download music for free?

it's mostly bands that are unsigned and unknown, but they have some great artists.
some even offer free downloads.
give it a go.

all of those websites are good for downlading music for free, however, just a hint of advice: perhaps downloading free music isn't the best thing to do. the chance of getting viruses are greater than ever really, and they're on EVERY site. they may say that frostwire doesn't have viruses, but it does. my computer was crashed from a virus from frostwire, and before that from limewire. so just something for you to think about when you decide what to download.

Frostwire is essentially the same thing as Limewire, just blue. There aren't more viruses and there aren't fewer.
With that cleared up; torrents.
Download Vuze at vuze.com. Then you can start downloading things from torrent sites, like The Pirate Bay.
