Buy accessories for his electronics, rather than the electronics themselves Cell phone covers, iPod docking stations, and computer monitor frames make great gifts for boys.subscription to a men's magazine like FHM.Buy the latest action movie to hit the stands.
one time i got my brother pack of razors, shaving cream, and after shave.(good kind, like gilette) i put it all in a basket i bought from the dollar store and he loved it. that made him feel like a man. Plus, he'll get use out of them for months. [ Leen468's advice column | Ask Leen468 A Question ]

a wallet (at pacsun or somewhere nice but less pricey)
cloths like shirts
Gift card
money haha even though its not that personal
jacket
does he play sports? you could get him a poster, or a basketball, football, etc. or a jersey.
sunglasses
watch
can he drive? if he can you can get him a personalized keychain that says his name on it.
