Its just soo unfair! Matt has a different girlfriend every week and all dad does is laugh and joke with him saying how matt's jus like dad was when he was he's age but if I even think about havin a boyfriend dad goes nuts! That's not fair! Matt's only 3 years older that's not much of an age difference. Is it bcuz I'm a girl? What do I do to make Dad understand? Isn't he being mean and showing favorism just because Matt is a boy?

what was wrong? there was no standard currency. people from kentucky couldn't take the money they have and go to alabama and buy stuff because the banks in alabama would not recognize their money as legal tender.
america did change for the better, until we went off the gold standard(each paper dollar was backed by a real dollar of gold in the U.S. treasury vault) and changed over to this garbage fiat currency(that paper dollar is now only backed up by faith in the U.S. government). this is the reason why a 20 dollar gold coin from the 1890s is worth 1490 of today's dollar. inflation and lack of faith is a bitch.

okay. I've been reading your advice. It's very amusing because your so blunt when most people are not. So i need an honest answer from a man. I've been married to my husband for 2 years and we been together for a total of 4 years. We have had hard times like everyone else, but all around we've always had a pretty good sex life and always pretty affectionate with each other. As for the communication, he's always had a problem with expressing himself. I on the other hand, have no problem at all telling him how i feel. I'm very blunt and honest. He just bites his tongue more i think. Anyway he changed jobs a couple months ago. He went from working days to nights and it messed his schedule up completely which i understand. But it's like NOTHING has went back to normal yet. We argue constantly, we don't have sex as much as we used to and i LOVE sex!!!! Most married men are begging for it, like a dog wanting a freaking bone, but not him. I'm the one that's always bringing it up and he says he has more important things to worry about than sex. We have 2 kids together so our lives are hectic, but i feel like we should STILL make time to "keep it alive" you know? He says i "bitch" too much, and i say he doesn't give me what i need enough. Like .. affection, sex, communication, attention. Really thats all i want. But it's almost like he wont do it because he KNOWS i want him to! I've done the night/day switch several times before, and it sucks. its one of those things that your body naturally rebels against. imagine waking up every day feeling like garbage, eating dinner when its your breakfast time... still, thats no excuse. What does he do on the night shift? I assume he doesn't tell you much, but something may be stressing him out on the job. I suggest you get somebody to watch the kids, and you guys have some alone time. whether its having a nice breakfast, going out to a park, it just needs to be something in which you two have some peace and quiet for an hour or two and can work out the issue. absolutely no tv, cell phones, computers, or any other BS distractions. He needs to understand that his family is his cheerleading squad, not an adversary. and if he bitches about missing the game, tell him you're taping it or something.

Well, i was born, oldest of four kids. first off my mother had a divorce when i was born, my 13 yeaer old sister, and she was pregnant with my now 6 year old sister. she ran away from california to montana to try a new life. She married a man named Jesse. that man abused me, and hated me, never had a job, and forced us to move 14 different places during my age of 9-12. my mom had a kid with him and he is now 3. they got a divorce and out of spite Jesse called immigration on my mother. she was put into a detention center, and within two days of that my father in Cali came and took me and my 13 year old sister, my two younger sibs went with Jesse. my mom will be deported on June 23rd. i was forced to California for 4 months, and i was lonely, never made a single friend since all the highschool kids (im 16 by the way) did drugs or alcohol. so i didnt fit in. anyhow, through all this i had a girlfriend, she has been amazing. she was the only "Silver Lining" in my life. And i recently came back to montana, for spring break and i decided to stay. my mom got released from the detention center and so i decided to stay with my friend Ryan, (16 years old too) anyway, his parents took me in like their own child, this made my dad very angry and he disowned me. he wont answer his phone, he wont call me, he said he's dissconnecting my phone, and he said he's done with me and trying to help me. so he's been gone for like 2 weeks... and i had to go to court to fight for the right to see my two younger siblings. The attorney told me to find people willing to go to the cort session as people supporting my mom. so i called my girlfriends parents (i always got along with them and they were always nice to me) so they went to the court. it was there that they both found out just how shitty my life has been so far. after finding this all out in court, they decided my life was "to stressful for their daughter" so they took her out of school, took away her phone, took away her laptop, and any means of contact with me. (this happened the day before yesterday) they refuse to let me see her, and refuse to let me talk to her. This hurts me. she has been there for me through everything, all my shitty life experiences, all of it. she's been with me (2 years) i can't live without her. i simply can not go on. i know that sounds ridiculous seeing as how i am so young. but believe me. i know she is "the one" i've dated girls before and thought i liked them, but compared to this one. they are nothing. she is the love of my life and the one i cnt let go. every time im around her, i feel like my life has meaning and purpose. i feel like i want to become a better person. i just cant live without her. and i know she needs me too. i dont know what to do... someone... please help me...
well dude, seeing as how you're awesome at rolling with the punches, I'd suggest rolling with this one as well. If she's really "the one", then she'll wait out her parent's bullshit(yes, they will eventually calm down and let her have her phone back) and call you. if she cares about you as much as you do her, then you're set. just let things settle down, and have faith that everything will come out okay in the end.

sorry, the 20th century is a pretty good counterargument to your beliefs. however, might I suggest you focus on certain aspects of communism, the ones that people don't actively oppose just out of human nature. I'm pretty sure you can start conversations on socialized medicine and expand your views from there. seeing as how that one aspect of communism has gained great support in many circles, it may just be the springboard you could use successfully.

I dunno.. I've met chicks that are just as nonchalant about nudity as I am, but they were all drop-dead gorgeous, so the example may be flawed. ehh.. I know I'm not a 10 in anybody's book, but when I'm scantily clad, its usually for a purpose (ie: its hot, or I'm swimming). my prime concern is not what other people are thinking when they see my forest of body hair, but in completion or enjoyment of the activity at hand. I guess its about being comfortable with showing your perceived imperfections to others and not hiding behind a facade.

why do we use soaps
just throwing this out there, but perhaps we use soaps to stay clean? your body produces a bunch of oil, you shed massive amounts of skin particles, sweat.... and the most effective tool we've made to deal with this laundry list of stuff is soap. do you know what its like to go for thirty days without bathing? its disgusting, your whole body itches and crawls... and parasites get involved... its not pretty.

I'm 15/f and had a pilonidal cyst removed about 2 weeks ago. I was on medications to not get an infection but since it's on my tailbone, I can't see much. What are signs of an infection?
I got one of those when I was in afghanistan three years ago. beside what the other dude said, to which I agree, you should consider doing the following: snap pictures with a digital camera every once in a while and check the color around the site. it worked for me out on the pakistan border, so it should work for you. there are several methods of cyst removal, I've had two different procedures done, one back at the FOB where they just cut it open and drained the nasty fluid out(no painkillers, they had to gag me... it hurt alot), the second time around the Germans just cut the whole thing out and left a huge gaping hole the size of a golfball that I had to pack daily. I've heard there's a less invasive procedure... but it wasn't done on me. just remember to keep the area as clean as possible, and you should be okay. if the need arises, they have a gel antibiotic that is administered topically with the packing material, so if the need arises, you can request that.
