Why does it seem like guys are not as insecure of their bodies as girls are? It seems like guys will just get naked right in front of people like nothing, when I don't feel like girls would do that (I know I wouldn't and I am a skinny girl)
hitler_the_goat answered Friday May 6 2011, 9:39 pm: I dunno.. I've met chicks that are just as nonchalant about nudity as I am, but they were all drop-dead gorgeous, so the example may be flawed. ehh.. I know I'm not a 10 in anybody's book, but when I'm scantily clad, its usually for a purpose (ie: its hot, or I'm swimming). my prime concern is not what other people are thinking when they see my forest of body hair, but in completion or enjoyment of the activity at hand. I guess its about being comfortable with showing your perceived imperfections to others and not hiding behind a facade.
but rest assured, nobody's perfect. once you can accept that and be comfortable in your own skin, disrobing in front of others isn't so bad at all.

julie75 answered Friday May 6 2011, 7:30 pm: Girls typically have more feelings and care about what people think about them. It also has a little to do with the way you're raised. I was raised in an open, caring family and made to feel nudity wasn't anything to be ashamed of. My sister and I would walk around naked in our rooms in front of each other all the time and our mom would be naked in her room with the door open all the time. I wouldn't worry about how you feel about being naked and don't let any guy talk you into doing something you're not comfortable with. I hope this helps and good luck.
