My parents wont let me have a new phone for christmas. I got one about 7 months ago but it's not very good and I really want a new one. I tried negotiating with them and asking if I could have it as a joint present from them and my grandparents but they said no. I can't afford to save up for it myself and I'm only 13 so I can't work for the cash. My parents wont let me babysit. How can I persuade them to let me have the phone? Or, how can I raise the money to get it myself?
i know your 13 and so some of these things might sound silly. what you might be albe to do to get the money is create a lemon-ade stand, make string jewlry and sell it or get a job at a place where they hire kids around 13-14

My sister is organizing a public speaking club, for people who want to improve on their speeches, nervousness of speaking in front of a group of people, listening skills, etc. It doesn't begin until 2 weeks so we have a lot of planning to do, and it last for about 2 hours. Do you guys have any ideas of what we should do at the 1st meeting to make it fun, interesting, and to let people like it?
i think for the first meeting you should have people bring there favorite book (a short book) and have them read a chapter or like 2 pages. Them have them talk one by one to see if they liked the book or why they did not like the book.

hey every1.okay i know ALLLL the diet tips and the right fo0ds to eat and the excerise plans, etc, alllll of it... Im about 126-127 lbs, and im 5'2..I want to go down to 120 but I dont know how to STAY on the diet..I need motivation..Like sometimes Ill just be like aww screw it and just eat w/e, then right after i eat it i feel really depressed, etc..Any tips on how to STAY on a diet and STAY motivated?? well, its all about choices. When you go to pick up that 3rd slice of pie think for a second, do i really want to gain wieght instead of loosing wieght? you dont have to stop eating (never do that) just eat less and exercise more. or if you have a big dinner eat half of whats on your plate or dont go back for seconds.

13/f i have just moved in my 8th grade year which is still hard for me to get over but my parents rly don't seem to get it that i'm miserable in my new town. my grandmother lives in my old town and offered for me to live with her. and it sounds rly good sometimes my parents and i disagree alot and i know most teenagers do but they still treat me like i'm 5 and its hell forme to live with them. i don't know what i should do. all my true friends are in my old town and i'm there every weekend. if you think i should live with my grandma please tell me what to say to my parental units! please help i have been lingering this for a long time and i have def given my new town a chance i've been here for 5 months
if you are not happy where you are i think you should move to your granmothers. only move if you think its the right thing. if you were to move i think you should tell you parents this :"mom,dad, grandmother has asked me if i could live with her because that is where i want to be back with my friends and where i know everything and everyone." if they say no just try to convince them you are very unhappy and they should understand that you need to be happy too. try to make them understand you.

its ok to talk to your exboyfriend. but if you dont want to get back into the relationship you dont have to. if he does ask you out, just say, is it ok if we are just friends or lets just be friends. but if you talk to him try not to let your feelings comeback, but if they do and you dont feel comferable talking to him then just say g2g. ~hope it works

I just moved to arizona from texas.. my best friend cried wen i left, and said that i would always be her best friend.. but its a couple of months after i moved, and she doesnt seem to pay much attention anymore.. She never calls, writes letters, or emails... we talk to eachother on AIM sometimes, but wenever i talk to her im so happy! but i feel like she is forgetting about me even though she says im not.. i get so depressed about it, and i cry.i would do anything for her!! she is soo important to me! we tell eachother everything and anything.. wat can i do to get her to relize wats shes doing to me without hurting her feelings?
i think you should tell her how are feel. i think you should say "hey, um sometimes i feel like you dont think about me any more, you dont really bother with me anymore, it makes me feel so sad" just tell her, she will understand.

Ok: so i love scary movies... spook houses, and doing the ouiji board. I live down in the basement all alone and after seeing freaky movies... like Saw I can't sleep. I think that there in my basement gonna come kill me.. and even though I'm 16... i still sleep with my t.v. on all night... even though I can't stand a speck of light in the night i LOVE watchinng scary movies... but i get so scared I sometimes cry! I think you should just go right up to him and say, "i dont think this friendship is working, i just dont want to be friends. Sorry." and walk away. But if he takes it the wrong way, just say "look, we tried being friends, its working any more, sorry."

Think for a second, do you really "know" that he is gay? is there anything that makes you think he is gay? but when you say he takes everything too seriously maybe he cant take a joke. Try not to joke around and make jokes infront of him if he cant take them. But if he is gay, i would not tease him or laugh at him. I care a lot about what my friends think of me. I was preppy, and I want to go punk. I got some cloths liek element shirt and volcom and stuff. But when my friends get mad at me they call me poser, even before I got this new stuff. They also say I hav real bitchy attitude. And this past summer a lot of family issues happened, and my friends know that and still call me a bitch. Do they really mean it when they call me a bitch and a poser? what i think you should do it talk to them about it. Tell them you feel hurt when they say that stuff. Tell them "you are my friends or you are not my friends, but i want to stay friends" just tell them how you feel. if they are really your friends, they will listen to you.
