i need a costume idea. Every year I show my horse at fair and their is a costume contest. I need a really good idea this year. He is a dapple grey horse, and anyone can do this. Like last year my horse was dressed patriotically, i was uncle sam, and my sister was the statue of liberty, we won first. But I need a new idea please!
Well, I work for a company that does (themed) pony parties, and we make costumes for the ponies and stuff. If you'll e-mail me I'll send you the link to the website which has tons of pictures from our parties. I don't want to post the link here because it says where we are located and I don't feel safe posting it on the internet for everyone to see.

I prefer having girls answer this question, but. I had my period on May 19, and had it for 5 days. It should be over now, but now I'm getting brown discharge, but it only happens once a day. So far, this has been happening for 3 days, but I don't get why I'm getting brown discharge when my period is over.
Any answers would help :)
thanks
Most likely its your body just eliminating any traces of the blood thats left. I guess you could say its just cleaning the system. It should stop in the next day or so, but if it doesn't, it could be that you're still having a very light period, so if this continues, go see a doctor. But don't freak out about it, I highly doubt that its anything horrible.
I was having this light period for a 4 months, and when I went to the lady doctor she just put me on birth control to help regulate my cycle.

ok, ok i just started my period. i've been using tampons because they are alot more comferatable.
anyways, when i take my tampon out there like brown stuff on it, and blood. what the heck?!?! anything will help.
The brown is really dried, or old blood. Its normal, sometimes the tampon will be completely red if you have a heavy period, or all brown if you have a light flow. Brown and red just means you have a medium flow, and its nothing to worry about. Just remember to change them every 4-5 hours, and keep them in no longer than 8 hours.

Well, since it's the end of my sophomore year and a lot of people are moving away to different schools and whatnot..I decided to write each best best friend a letter describing all the memories and good times/bad times we had this year. It's a really touching letter and I don't know how some of my friends will respond. Should I do it? To show how much I care?
Also..do you think it would be a bad idea to do this for an ex boyfriend that I still care about? (he cares for me too.) but I don't know if it would be the right thing to do and I definitely wouldn't know what to say. But I wanna show him that if there's a chance, we could try again next year (we broke up less than a month ago).
Thank you in advance :))
Honestly, I think that would be a very sweet and touching thing to do, even if you're not close friends with that person. I know I would be very touched to receive such a letter, even from an acquaintance. As for your ex-boyfriend, I think if something naturally comes to you, then you should write him a letter, however, if you feel that you are just gasping for any ideas or things to say, then don't write it, because the letter will end up forced and a bit fake.

I'm really interested in getting a dwarf rabbit. I bought a book about the care and keeping of pet rabbits, and it said that it was ideal to keep the door to the cage open eventually, so that the rabbit was free to come and go and wander about the house as it pleased. My question is, is this really necessary? My mom isn't a fan of pets wandering about the house, and I haven't totally convinced her that a rabbit is a good idea. Of course I would let my bunny out to be with me when I was around the house, but would it be a problem if I kept him/her in the cage with the door shut at other times?
Well, if you are going to keep it in a cage for long periods of the day, the cage has to be pretty large. I suggest getting a small rabbit and a big cage. It should have enough room to hold a litter box, a food bowl, and of course a rabbit, and there should be enough space for the bunny to do at least five hops, and tall enough for him to jump. But honestly, most bunnies will become pretty listless (or psychotic) from boredom, and their true wonderful personality won't be able to come out.
My bunny has a very small cage (1 foot by 4 feet by 1 foot) where he eats, does his bathroom business, and there's just enough room for him to stretch out to sleep if he chooses. The cage is on the floor and is open 24/7. He has the run of my bedroom, and sometimes he'll go and hop around the house, although I found that he goes in only into two other rooms.
If keeping him in one room isn't an option, you can get a small cage and a dog pen, or water ever those things are called. Although putting one of those up is pretty space consuming and a bit of an eye sore. But I really highly suggest dedicating a room to your bunny, like a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or hallway.
Now, onto your questions =P
Is it necessary for your bunny to be able to wander around the house?
-> Well, if want to bond with your bunny, I would say yes, it is necessary. If they are kept in cages (even if they are let out on a daily basis for an few hours) they become pretty antisocial and miserable. I know this from first hand experience; I kept my bunny in his cage (with daily "walks" of course) for my first two years of keeping him. This past year, I moved him to my room and where he now lives with his cage door open. He turned into a completely different bunny. He developed a pretty distinguished personality, and best of all, he bonded with me. He'll groom me, and I wake up to bunny kisses each morning.
For your last question:
It really depends on how long you plan to keep him locked up for. I would say that no longer than 8-9 hours a day, so while you sleep he can be locked up, and let him out in the morning.
But to be honest here, If you're going to keep him locked up for long periods of time (over 8-9 hours), I don't think you should get a bunny. It just won't be fair for him, or even for you, because both deserve better: he deserves a better life than sitting in a cage, and you deserve a happy pet that's capable of loving you (miserable bunnies don't really do that, they're too depressed).

my legs rub together when i wear shorts, and my in between my legs get really sore and red, sometimes cut up, because they rub together from wearing shorts. Any ways I can prevent this, or when it happens, I can make it feel better? thanks.

Vaseline, cocoa butter, or baby oil should help. It will help prevent the chafing because there will be more of a "slide" because its more slippery. It will also help heal the area at the same time. Just don't put too much on or you'll look like a greased chicken.

hehe so im a 17/f and about 2 weeks ago i met this boy in driver's ed. his name is nick. i didn't meet him in class but like when we were doing driver's time we started talking. and we got to know each other. well after we were done driving he i signed up for the next driving time from 4-6 p.m. and he signed up for 2-4 but he changed it so he could drive with me.. and i thought that was sweet. haha i dunno. and then last week when we drove, he asked me for my number and we'd text each other. and i asked him why he likes to drive with me and he said cuz its fun haha and im the only person he's actually gotten to know. lol so yeah. and we talk on myspace and im on his top 8. and i put him on mine's too. but yeah im not sure like exactly what to say to him and i mean does he like me? im confused. and i don't wan t to tell him i like him yet because i've only known him for 2 weeks.. so yeah please help! thnx.
For right now, I would just assume he likes you as a friend, although he is very interested in getting to know you. If you like him, start flirting with him, and see where it takes you.

bored.
suggestion?
Turn on some music and deep clean your room. This means clean EVERYTHING. In my room what I usually do is empty out all of my drawers, vacuum them, throw away anything that needs to be thrown away (trash, papers, clothes, etc). I move my bed and vacuum that. I wipe off the dust from my window blinds, wash the windows. I wash all of my bedding including the bed skirt. I dust everything with a wet paper towel (I recommend using any sort of wet wipe; things like feather duster make everything fly up into the air for a while and then it settles back down on the surfaces). I organize everything like clothes, school stuff, etc).
I know this doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but after five minutes it actually becomes pretty fun. After you're done you'll feel accomplished, and it'll motivate to keep your room clean (if you don't... and unfortunately I'm one of those people). Its also a great way to start the summer because during the summer people are less inclined to do work.

okay this is kinda random but what would you do if you and you and your best friend had a big fight and you were the one that caused it and it was all your fault and you new that your friend had depression problems and that she cut herself and stuff and you were really mean to her and a couple days later she killed herself and left a suicide note for you saying you were the one that made her kill herself. there are no wrong answers i just really wanna no what yall think. thanks!
I think whether it was my best friend or not, I would become horribly depressed, become very careful with what I say and do. Honestly I think I would die inside. Then I most likely will pass through a phase of self-medication, probably alcohol or the computer, and then I would try to move on and forget about it because it was already done and I should move on with my own life. I would probably convince myself that she already had depression problems that weren't cause by me, it was just our fight that pushed her over the edge. I would also stay away from her family and her close friends because I probably wouldn't be able to look them in the eye.
Gosh, I hope you aren't in this situation, and if you are or gosh forbid will be, I hope that you would deal with it better than I would and seek therapy.

My family is catholic, but i found out that my brother is "agnostic". This has happened recently, he is a seventh grader and only 13 years old. Will he grow out of this? He goes to church but he never says any of the prayers or anything. A lot of people think catholicism is too "strict" but our church isn't a normal catholic church; we have a youth choir that actually sings songs that aren't boring and we have youth groups and our priests are really nice and actually give good sermons. What can i do to help him? I don't want to shove it down his throat or anything...but what should i do? please help!
I think you should do nothing. Let him decide on his own what he wants to believe in. As long as he's being respectful (to your family's beliefs and others' beliefs) you really shouldn't be concerned.

second hand smoke worse then first hand smoke
Well, this is how my biology teacher explained this to us last year:
If you are a smoker, first hand is worse. If you are a nonsmoker, and don't plan to smoke, second hand is still bad because you're lungs are so fresh and new to it that you haven't developed "immunity" (but not really immunity, if you know what I mean. Usually when a someone smokes a cigarette for the first time it irritates the throat and lungs causing them to cough, yet people that have been smoking for a while don't experience this (but they most certainly will in the future if they don't quit smoking).
Second hand smoke is more diluted however and will cause less damage. I still suggest holding your breath around smoking persons when you can though =)

i am a 18 year old female and i have met these two people online. they are a couple and are interested in maybe getting together to hook up.. i have been feeling like i am maybe bisexual and maybe this could help me figure that out. the thing is i'm kinda scared to meet up with them just because they are strangers and all. but i have talked to them and they seem real and not creepy. i just need some advice on what to do because i really want to but something bad could happpen. please help.
Don't, don't, don't!!
First of all, there will be one of you and two of them. Second of all, OF COURSE they won't sound creepy, they will do everything they possibly can so they can sound as nice as possible to lure you in. I don't know their genders, but even if both or one of them is female doesn't mean a thing: she could be an accomplice, or really just pretending to be a female.
I strongly suggest against it. You could get kidnapped, held hostage, raped, killed, beaten, imprisoned.
Just don't do it. Break all contact with them. Please be safe. Its really not worth it.

Okay, I can't decide what purse to get. I have just about every designer brand in every color. Should I get a louis vuitton or a different kind? Is there any you reccommend. Please dont say Gucci.
If you have every designer brand in every color, are you sure you need another purse? Why not use that money on something more useful and less materialistic?

Our class trip is going to Poland and Israel for two and a half weeks
we fly from chicago to Poland, Poland to Israel, Israel back to Chicago. One of the main reasons I do not want to go on this school trip is because I am scared of flights and I suffer from panic attacks. I don't want to embarass myself from getting a panic attack on the plane flights and I'm thinking of taking adenine I think it's called. But the longest plane ride I've been on was six hours and I never traveled over seas before. I need some advice how to handle this situation whether i should go or not.
And to add
How long is the plane flight from Chicago to Poland and how long is the plane flight from Israel back to chicago
And what's the food like in Poland I heard it's really bad and I am a picky eater
thank you
The plane flight from Chicago to Poland is about ten hours, depending on the wind currents and the pilots. I don't know how long the flight from Israel to Chicago will be but I'm guessing about 13-15 hours.
Polish food is quite different from American. Their dairy products taste a little bit different (I think it tastes better). They love meat, and crepes. They usually serve bread with the food, and the bread is rye. I personally think all different cuisines are delicious, but you'll see if you like it when you get there. If you don't like something, remember its name and don't order it again, order something different.
As for the panic attacks, know that the chances of something bad happening are almost zero. A flight will be canceled if you are to be flying in dangerous situations (bad weather, things like that). I would recommend telling a close friend whose going with you that you're scared of flights, and (s)he'll comfort you. For now, try not to think about it because you'll just make yourself worked up and even more scared.

hey
well the guy ive been going out with for a week .. he says he really likes me but he doesnt make an effort. before when we werent going out like 2 months ago we hooked up and afterwards he called me alot and replied to my messages and came to see me and had time for me, then when we started going out he just never called me .. he would promise he would call and then he wont. and he never replied to my messages, and he never has time for me. hes always with his friends. i would be like Hey come visit me when i finish work and he would come during work and be like Yeah i wont be able to see you because im going out with mates etc. i got so sick of it and yesterday i told him and im like I cant go out with someone that i only see once a week and he was like Im really sorry i didnt realise i was confused because it was straight after a relationship but now im ready i luv you i just dont want to lose you and im like Okay ill give you one more chance etc.
so today i saw him and hes like Ive started to reply to your messages more have you realised and im like Yeah youre making an effort aye. ok so 10 mins later hes like Yeah im just going with my friend to the shops quickly to get something ill be back. so he comes back in 5 minutes and then he goes for a smoke with his friends, and then comes back and im like to my friend I bet he has to go somewhere now. and guess what? he comes back and hes like I have to go blah blah and im like Yeah i knew it.
im really confused because i dunno what the hell is wrong with him if he wants a relationship with me WHY CANT HE JUST DO IT?
please help i dunno what to do :(
thankss
Well, a relationship takes two, and at the moment, its just you, he's not present. It seems like your egging him on and nagging him to spend time with you, which isn't you're role in the relationship. He obviously doesn't understand that to be in a relationship you make a commitment, and he's not committed to you at the moment. Break up with him. He isn't worth your time if he takes you for granted.

I'm 16 and I have a bump on my vagina. I'm a virgin and haven't gave anyone a blowjob so it couldn't be and STD. I'm thinking it's staph infection because I've had that before but I'm really scared. I haven't told anyone mainly because it's embarrasing. Most people will say get it checked out by a doctor but is there anything I can buy at a store that might help. I would rather keep this to myself unless its really really serious.
Staph infections are serious. The earlier you do something about it, the better the chances of recovery. Staph infections are treated with hardcore medications, so no, there will be nothing that you could buy over-the-counter that would treat it.
Don't be embarrassed about it, doctors have seen millions (well, maybe not millions ;P ) of vaginas. Its not 100% sure that its not a staph (or MRSA) infection, but because you've had it before, you're more susceptible to it.
Please schedule an appointment with the doctor that treated your staph infection asap and hope for the best =)

okay so i am talking to this guy and my step mom and step brother tell me i am related to him, but i KNOW i am not.. and everyone else says im not...
they say this because he is the half brother of my cousin.....BUT on her dads side to whom i am not related. So we are not related at all! are we?? i wouldnt say so... but i dont see how we could be so if we are can you like explain it to me please??
Unless there's a big family secret that your step mom and step brother know about, you two aren't related. But still even if you guys aren't blood, you're still considered family, so maybe that's what they mean by "related."

I just wanted to say your a gorgeous young lady.
Ever thought of modeling?
=)
Lol, not really. But I always thought it would be fun to be on America's Next Top Model but be eliminated last. But I'm too self conscience and awkward to be a model. I think a veterinary technician would be a more rewarding career =)
I have a somewhat awkward relationship with my mother. We are a very proper family, and I discuss school and literature with her but never personal matters. How do I comfortably tell my mother that her perfect daughter might have a vaginal infection?
"Mother, I think we should take a trip to the lady doctor because I think I might have an infection down there that has nothing to do with boys."
Don't be shy or awkward about it, cause hey, you're mom's a lady too and has probably experienced a vaginal infection herself (most women do at least once in their lives). Who knows, maybe it will help make your relationship less awkward and more intimate?
