Question Posted Tuesday May 6 2008, 7:17 pm

I have a somewhat awkward relationship with my mother. We are a very proper family, and I discuss school and literature with her but never personal matters. How do I comfortably tell my mother that her perfect daughter might have a vaginal infection?

"Mother, I think we should take a trip to the lady doctor because I think I might have an infection down there that has nothing to do with boys."

Don't be shy or awkward about it, cause hey, you're mom's a lady too and has probably experienced a vaginal infection herself (most women do at least once in their lives). Who knows, maybe it will help make your relationship less awkward and more intimate?

i know it will be kinda hard but you should tell her. if you dont tell her bad things can happen. you do need to see a doctor and if youu wait to long it get worse. try sitting her down and talking to her as if third person was involved. if you 18 then you can take yourself. she is your mother she post to help you with these things.

hope i helped
