Are there any FREE programs that i can download where i can make everything else in a picture black and white, and then make like one flower or something the color it is? I know i can do it on photoshop, but i don't want to buy something and i don't want just a free 30 day trial or whatever.

I don't believe you can selectively color with Picasa. Also, using the "negative" tool on an image is not what you want, that *reverses* color and brightness, it doesn't make it black and white.

If you want your eyes a different color than they really are, skip the layers in the guide and just make it black and white. Then change it back to RGB. Use a transparent(30% opacity should be fine) paintbrush to paint your eyes whatever color you want.

If you're using windows SP2 or Vista, go to start, then run. Type:
firewall.cpl
and press ok. You can easily turn it on there. If you're using an earlier version of windows, you need to download one separately. First check that you don't have one running. Most paid antivirus applications come with one, and it's usually turned on by default. I have 107GB of material I've downloaded with bittorrent, which provides me with hours of entertainment. ( all public domain, of course ;) ). I also use joost to watch tv on my computer, contact me if you want an invite.

i want fast internet like 7kbps like the speed of dsl. i cant get cox b/c there isnt any in my area and i cant get yahoo dsl either? both of those are fast and very cheap lees than $20 a month. i hav aol dial up and it sucks. so wut else is there
If you don't live in the middle of nowhere, there will be 2 providers of high-speed, a cable provider(the company that sells cable TV in your area) and a DSL provider(the company that sells phone service in your area). Call up your cable company(look in the phone book if you don't use cable) and phone company to compare service and prices. Because the ISPs are state-sponsored monopolies, there are rarely more than 2 providers in a single area; any other providers you see advertised are usually resellers.
Cable starts out faster, but the more people who use it in your area, the slower it is. In my experience it's also less reliable. DSL starts out slower, but is always at a steady speed, and it's more reliable.
If you do live in the middle of nowhere, you can get satellite internet, which is crazy expensive and slower than DSL or cable. Search:

Animated GIFs tend to slow down my browser, and they're usually annoying, so I'm not a fan of them. There are some places where they work really good, though. GIFs were all the rage 10 years ago, they're mostly out of style now.

can someone to see my history even after i delete it???
Browser history can't be easily recovered after it's been deleted, but there are a few ways.
System restore will restore history. To delete restores, first make a new restore point(start>programs>accessories>system tools>restore). Then go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, disk cleanup. Then the "more options" tab. Clear restores.
It's possible to recover the cache after it's been deleted, which would show things like the myspace logo. To permanently delete that, clear it in whatever browser you use(same place as history in IE), then install this:

and "shred free disk space". Use the least amount of passes, 1 will be enough(I think it defaults to 3).
Even more unknown are index.dat files, which are hard to delete and contain all of your history and cookie info. To delete these, boot into safe mode(restart your computer, while restarting, hold F8), search for index.dat (include hidden and system files in the advanced search section), and delete them.
Use firefox and it's almost impossible to recover history after it's been deleted. No index.dat files or recoverable records.

I have a Windows XP computer and right now it seems slower, websites load slower, slow searching, etc. Anyone know what the problem is? Is the problem(s) from downloading/having many programs/games, putting it in hibernation mode instead of turning it off, and/or using it a lot? If it's one or more than any of these problems or one you might possibly know how can I fix it? I'm thinking of giving it a another system recovery which to me helps fix my computer up a bit but I just wanna know another way without having to do it that way.
Defragmentation won't do a bit of good for your problem. Defragmentation decreases disk read and write speeds, which has nothing to do with your computer speeds. It would help if it defragmented the pagefile, but it doesn't. Here's my slow computer guide:

I keep getting this popup [at least three times today] that tells me there's a "Threat Detected". Then it tells me the name of the virus [ JS / Psyme ] and it won't let me "heal" it. The only other option is to send it to the "Virus Vault" or whatever so I keep doing that, but i'm sure that isn't helping me get rid of the virus.
I use 'AVG Free Edition - Test Center'. It automatically updates itself so I basically forget I have it. I don't think there's any other virus type things on this computer, but it's a laptop if that makes any difference & i've only had it for about 7-8 months. The only sites I really go on are google, youtube, advicenators, addictinggames, and buddy4u.
Today I went on one of the Lyric sites though because my normal lyric site didn't have the band I was looking for, & this is when the virus hints started. Maybe it was that? Not sure. I can't tell my dad about this either though because I got two serious viruses on my last laptop where they had to do complete system recovery's. :\

Uninstall AVG, which is a horrible antivirus. Then install avast:

On installation _make sure "schedule a boot-time scan" is selected_. Restart your computer, and avast will scan your computer in a way the virus can't prevent. When it asks you, tell it you want to delete the virus.
After you've done this, you can uninstall avast if you want, though you should install something else if you do. Take a look at my comparison of free antivirus applications:

You don't have a graphics card, SiS is a motherboard manufacturer, so you have onboard graphics. You have to buy a graphics card to upgrade. SiS is a low-end motherboard, so you'd probably be better off buying a new computer.

Ask me another question if you really, really want to upgrade your computer hardware, including your graphics card. Include your SiSoftware Sandra report from "computer overview" in "hardware" and "operating system" in "software, but REMOVE THE LICENSE KEY in the reports. The license key will look like "license key: 1234:5678:9101:1121". I believe it's in two spots on the report. External will be easier to install and it's usually cheaper, but it's slower and you can't boot from it.
Internal may be difficult for you to install, since you will have to take the cover off of your computer and find your SATA or IDE connector; you may also accidentally choose the wrong type of drive and it won't work. It's faster, more reliable, and you can boot from it, though.
You should have at least 5GB of space on an internal drive, for the page file. If moving your data onto the external won't free up this much space, you should definitely get an internal. Otherwise, I'd go with external.
