Pop-Up Blocker?

HELP.
I'm on my Mom's work laptop and for some reason pop-ups just started coming up randomly.
I wasn't on any websites or anything that would cause that.
Unless LimeWire would?
She has a virus scan thing on her computer called "Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition" and I have no idea how to work it.
So if someone could please tell me a good place to download a free pop-up blocker or tell me what to do please let me know TONIGHT.

If your browser is closed, you have malware. Run these scans:

if you can comment me back and tell me what your using it couls be jsut because the pop off blocker is unchecked under your prefrences. i can lead you step by step to see if thats the problem first and then if that doesnt work...
