ok so my hardrive only has 117 MB left (haha i download ALOT but i didnt start out with a lot of GB in thefirst place :/ )
so my parents were offering to buy me a new one
and i heard that external USB would be the best for me
so i was wondering if this is a good one [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
if not does anyone have reccomendations?
something not extremely expensive please?
External will be easier to install and it's usually cheaper, but it's slower and you can't boot from it.
Internal may be difficult for you to install, since you will have to take the cover off of your computer and find your SATA or IDE connector; you may also accidentally choose the wrong type of drive and it won't work. It's faster, more reliable, and you can boot from it, though.
You should have at least 5GB of space on an internal drive, for the page file. If moving your data onto the external won't free up this much space, you should definitely get an internal. Otherwise, I'd go with external. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]

If it's a esktop, then it's far cheaper to buy an internal one.
