The year I decided to try out for volleyball. Before the tryouts, we had 3 days of practice to get us ready. The 3 practice days are over, and they were pretty rigorous. After every practice, my wrists and legs would hurt for hours. It hurts to walk. Before practice, we run a few laps around the track and run up stairs to warm up. Tryouts are on Tuesday. Is there anything I can do to stop the pain from coming after practice? Or is it just because I'm not used to working out this hard and I'll get used to it after a while? (link)

You'll get used to it after you do it for awhile. The days you dont have practice you should take a short jog and then rest up.

I bought this car in february, and besides getting a new battery, it was a great deal for $2000. But I drove about four hours away a few weekends ago, most of it highway going 70 or more. On the way back it started to make a really bad beeping... screeching grinding sound.
After driving the car for these last weeks, I can explain it better: When I start the car up and go, it will be fine for about 10 minutes. Then it will start to make a sort of beeping sound, that seems to be coming from something grinding and screeching against a pipe of some sort when it goes around (like the thing hooking the two front tires together are hitting something as it goes around it's rotation, only in one spot).
It stops completely every time I press on the break. It is sometimes worse when I make a right turn, and it sometimes gets better, or stops when I make a left turn. When I first started to hear it, someone told me that it might be something about the break pads. Then I heard that it could be a belt (fan belt maybe) that is loose or slightly off. And then I heard that it could be that my tires need to be rotated, or their off (I can't remember) and I might possibly lose a tire while driving it. As you can tell I'm not exactly car savy. I have a friend who is coming over tonight or tomorrow and would like it if someone could answer me and tell me what they think this problem could be. When I talk to my friend, I would like to point him in the right direction, so maybe he can fix it, or at least tell me exactly what it is, so I don't get screwed over by a mechanic if I have to go to one. its prob the airflow meter, or could just be the plug to the airflow meter. Thats not too expensive. Also could be a loose connection to somewhere, make sure all your harness plugs are clean and tight. Are you 100% sure the battery is new??

Im 21 and female. I broke up with a guy about 2 years ago and ive had feelings for him ever since. I basically broke up with him because of another guy and regreted it after. Weve kept in touch and im pretty sure im in love with him and have been even since we broke up. I recently found out he is going to propose to his girlfriend. This really upset me and i dont want him to marry her. I guess my question is, is it wrong for me to tell him how i feel about him since hes planning on marrying this other girl? Should i tell him or should i just leave it alone and try to move on?

Okay you should watch the movie 13 going on 30 as your homework. Basically you'll get that if he is obviously still in love with you then tell him, but if you dont know you might wanna just leave it alone. He might be in love, and you already had your chance. I still have time to think, but I have NO idea what I want to major in. Im really good in english but dont want to do any teacher sort of thing and the author life is too risky. I love horses, but couldnt be a vet b/c i could never bear the sorrow of putting a horse to sleep. I love animals in general. I love designing too, but Im not awsome in math so interior design would be a bit too tricky. I cant really draw. Could anyone just list some cool things to look into even if it has nothing to do with my interests? Thanks... for the help. :-D (link)

hmm.. well you could design the layouts for dogfood bags. Then maybe you could be there when they take the pictures with all the puppies n junk... lol.. i have no idea. Check out Photography too.. Good luck!!

ok.. how many of you think its possible to love at 15? i kno there's girls on here and guys that say they love their bf/gf. but do most of you take it as "puppy love?" i think it is possible. bc see my bf now.. ive been with him 9 months and i lost my virginity to him and the thing is my mom and family dissapprove of me and him together... because hes black n im white. but i still go to see him and he comes to see me at like the park and stuff and we hang out. and im 15 and so is he. i mean i kno this may sound stupid but i really can see myself with him forever. like i dont want to be with anyone else. i kno i love him and not that fake stuff. i would do anything for him. i kno u all dont think i kno what love is bc im so young but thats ok. but i do love him with all my heart and i would die for him... but how many of you believe that u can love someone at 15?

I think its possible just not too common. Lots of teenagers are in this position, just make sure your partner feels the same about you as you do him. Good luck and i hope your parents come around.

uh.. well if he didnt break up with you then wouldnt he have called you by now? Maybe he just didnt get online too much this summer. I doubt that it was his brother but if you want you can just talk to him online and somehow bring up how you miss doing stuff with him. Maybe he'll talk to you about why he dumped you or why he didnt call you.

Okay I have a b/f and hes goin into High Skewl and im still in 8th grade. Im 13 and hes 14 and alot of my friends and sum of his friends think that we'll make it thru the first year. He thinks that we'll last at least half the year. But i dont think we will last, is that wrong???

You just have to trust him. If he loves you as much as you love him then he wont make any mistakes, but if you really feel you can't make it then just "take a break" for awhile.

i was dating this guy for about 3 months and things got pretty serious. we spent every day together and he would stay and my house and vice versa. his ex girlfriend called one night and he broke up with me to see if things would work with her and they didnt. he called about a month after we broke up and said that he made a huge mistake for breaking up with me cause i was the best thing that had ever happened to him. we got back together and things were great, actually better than ever or so i thought. one day when she called again he started getting weird again and told me that he once again needed time. i took all of my stuff from his house and said that i wasnt playing second best anymore. i gave him all i had and thought that this was it. that he was the one. and unfortunately im a mess over him. i know he treats me horrible in this situation but ive never been so inlove with someone before. and i dont know what to do. someone just help. please. Your right he was putting you on second base, and until he's ready for a real relationship you dont need him. Try getting out there with your friends, remember the more your out there the better the chance of finding a better boyfriend. good luck..

nope its never good to act different around someone you have feelings for, because then what is going to happen when you get comfortable and start acting like yourself more. You should slowly start acting like yourself around him and make him know your comfortable around him and then hopefully he'll act like the real him too.

Its a good thing that your not telling your life story to strangers, but your right being able to talk to new people is important. Try talking about them instead of you, and maybe then you wont be as shy.

I'm really attracted to my friend. Hes 17 years old and is a total hottie. I really would love to spend the rest of my life with him. if your religion is that important to you than maybe you shouldn't, but i know that if you are catholic or whatever, jesus supposidly died on the cross for our sins and if thats like the only sin you make, sleeping with a guy, then your probably making a hell of a lot less sins than some preists i know.

This may not be the right category, but I couldnt find a better place. I just found out today that one of my friends from school, that I graduated with passed away yesterday. His friends were going through his cell phone, found my number and called me. I had one class with the person, we always flirted with each other and talked about hooking up. I never called him after we graduated because I thought, yeah hes to good for me. Well, he still had my number in his phone and I feel bad for never calling him. I want to go to the viewing to see him one last time and to pay my respects to him. He was a great guy. But, then again, I dont want to go because I want to remember him from how he was before. I dont think I could handle seeing him in a casket. I dont know what to do. Should I go to the viewing or not? The viewing is Friday..so I need answers soon. Thanks!! (link)

its not wrong to be 'sexually experienced' at 65 if your not ready. Make sure hes the right guy cause you only have that first time once. You dont just wake up and tell yourself "im ready to have sex today" You have to really think about it and know him enough to know that hes gonna love you if you have sex with him or not. If he gets mad because you wont have sex with him then you shouldnt even bother with him hes not worth it.

But when I think about it i'd be better off with someone else.. Kevin is a great guy and I still love him so much.. he tells me all the time that he still loves me but I don't no if i can believe it! Hey. Well I'm going into middle school and I practicually know no one there. I am scared that I will not make any friends, and I keep getting scared over and over again just thinking about it. My school starts Aug. 23, and my orientation is tomorrow Aug. 19, and there's going to be 7th graders and new students there and the bus is picking us up. I'm pretty scared about that too, but more scared of the first day of school. Can anyone tell me how to calm down about this and give me motivation so I won't be so scared anymore, and tell me how to make friends early and quick.
