Well thats not an easy process! The thing that helped me is not to see him or hear him. Meaning that if you see him in the halls at school, try and take an alternate route. Get more involved, and keep busy. Stop talking about him, and thinking about him. When the thought pops in your head, think of something else!

ok I am talking to my X Boyfriend and we are thinking of dateing again cause we cant really let each other go...and my mom dosnt like him at ALL!! she calls him a jerk and all that....I have been asking her to give him another chance cause he really has changed....and my x boyfriend (might be boyfriend) he keeps talking about how I hurt him and he tells me that he was heartbroken for a month or 2 and he feels better that we might be dateing agian...but how can I get my mom and dad to approve of him again???

There must be a good reason why youre parents dont like him. Did he do something to you for them to feel that way?
What do your friends and other people think of him now? If its been years maybe a person can change, but if its only been months, i doubt it!
There really isnt a way for your parents to change their opinion of him, except to try and convince them to give him a 2nd chance just like your willing to. Thats the only way to prove them wrong. Sometimes other people see what you dont.

Hey...my roommate (20/f) was in a horrible relationship recently and she's kind of afraid to start dating again. There's this guy that really likes her and he seems pretty nice. However, he's shorter than her, which she doesn't like, and he's pretty clingy. They've slept together before, they didn't do anything, so she was totally leading him on and everything. She hangs out with him still sometimes, but she always complains to me about how annoying he is. I know that she liked him at one point, but I'm not sure if she still does, it's really hard to tell. I know that it makes her feel bad whenever I say something about my boyfriend because she's lonely. Should I encourage her to date him and if so how? I really want her to get over her new phobia of relationships! Any advice would be great! (link)

If her last relationship was horrible, why get into another 1 so fast? Jumping into another relationship isnt the answer. If she thinks its gonna solve the loneliness, shes only gonna cause more problems. She needs to take her time, and get to really know a guy before she thinks about getting more involved with him!
It really doesnt sound like shes really into this guy. Dont encourage her into something just because youre in a relationship.
Learn from past mistakes! Take your time, shes still young yet. Dont find love, let it find her!

lately my boyfriend has had girls all over him or at least tryin to be. i dont go to the same school as him or get to see him all the time. i see him like once every two weeks. anyways here is my problem he used to like this girl be4 he meet me. he asked her out and she wanted to except she didnt because she thought he was a big flirt so didnt. and now she is going back to liking him and she trys to be around him all the time. (from what he tells me) and i know that he likes her still because he still talks to her and flirts with her. (i know guys are big flirts) but lately i have been getting jealous that she can spend more time with him then i can. one more thing on top of that i barely get to talk to him on the phone anymore. his phone is ALWAYS busy. and he has his own line so his parents dont use it. i know for a fact that no guy can talk to another guy for over 2 hours. i want to tell him how i feel except i dont want him to think that i dont trust him. because i do i just dont know or want to know her or trust her. someone help me out!! please. Why doesnt youre bf call you? Its tough when you both go to different schools.
You cant just blame the other girl. It takes 2 people to flirt. Doesnt sound like your bf is very trustworthy.
If your bf really cared about you, he would be making some kind of effort to talk to you somehow, and maybe reassure you, that you and him are still cool and that he doesnt like the other girl that likes him.

There might be small signs, spending less time with the person, not as affectionate, maybe flys off the handle for no reason. Lying.
Look at the relationship from before the suspicion to how it is now! Maybe the person isnt cheating. Maybe their just falling out of love!
Chances are if that person is confronted, theyre not gonna be 100% honest anyway! Thats why its called "cheating". unless you have proof, like a camera or some1 actually witnessing it, it might be hard to detect!

Why do you go out with guys if you break it off after a week? Dont committ yourself if thats all the longer your gonna date a guy! Your gonna start getting a reputation of skipping from 1 guy to another and no1s gonna want to date you.
You dont think youre gonna ruin your friendship? If you think youre gonna hurt the guy, DONT GO OUT WITH HIM, simple as that!
It doesnt quite sound like your truly ready for any relationship yet, so maybe you should just remaing friends, until you are!

16 m: okay so last year I had a good thing going with this girl.she was amazing and I seriously had it bad for her.we used to hold hands through the school and she was always scooting her desk next to mine in history class and we would always just talk and it was as if nothing else mattered.so one day i asked her out and she said that she wanted to be single for a while to get over her ex.I completly understood and so I gave her what she wanted. So i held out for her the whole summer only to find out 6 weeks into this school year she got back with her ex during the summer.when she told me this i was seriously pissed but i didnt show it.I think she knows what she did to me because now she wont even look at me. She must have known that her and her ex were getting back together, thats why she was holding off getting involved in another relationship. Usually if guy/girl makes up an excuse not to go out with a some1, it usually means something. Next time if you ask a girl out and she gives you an excuse, move on!

No you dont. It stays in place. If it goes in, its done correctly. There isnt a way of putting 1 in wrong, unless its not in all the way!! You should be able to feel as its going in.

k well i got my period on the 13th (right before i went to bed.) this is not my first period; i've had it since march. anyway, i went to bed and in the morning i woke up and there was no blood on the pad. when i got home from school, there was no blood either. and the NEXT morning there wasn't either. i haven't seen it since then. what happened? are periods THAT short? Usually youre first year will be like that. Some months will be more, some less. It will gradually become more consistent as time goes on.

My mate and her boyfriend have been sleeping together for a while and she told me today that she missed her period which was ment to start last wednesday, so a week ago. She had unprotected sex with her boyfriend about a month ago but has had a period since then, but she had sex with him using a condom just the other week, I just want to know what the likelyhood is she will be pregnant and what other causes there could be to her missing her period when she isnt stressed and is usually as regular as clockwork

Its very possible she could be pregnant. If she had unprotected sex just days before her getting her last period, even though she had a period, she could still be pregnant. Was it a normal cycle, or was it alittle 1? It takes awhile for conception to take place. She should take a pregnancy test this month, since she totally missed it. You might find the answer.

ok so me and this guy have liked eachother for a while no, we hung out every weekend during the summer, and during the first couple weeks at school, and he would always give me hugs, but then we started to become a little distant, and then today, he said " i dont like you anymore", but in kind of a funni way i guess..i think..but he is a joker type person, and then right after he saud that he gave me a hug...i dont know if he ment it..or what....im confused (link)

It sounds like hes being honest with you. I hang around alot of guys, were friends. They are always giving me hugs. Theyre just being nice and friendly. Im sure he means what he says. If he still wants to give you hugs, let him. Just because guys give you hugs doesnt always mean they like you "that way"! Guys make great friends!!

Ok before this question i've asked another on similar but this question is like the sequeal to it. So the qustion before this was I still like my exboyfriend who now lives in L.A. and i'm practicly inlove with him but i'm only 13 so I finally took the peoples advice who answered this and got his number from his friend that I know. So know I really want to call him but i'm nervouse because after I broke up with him for a really stupid reason we havn't talked for like a year but I know he still remembers me because his friend told me that he would always talk good about me. Alright. This is going to be extremley confusing. I'm in a relationship with this guy named *Tom*. We've been dating for 2 months. We only hold hands and cuddle. We don't make out or anything. Haven't even kissed. I kind of regard him as an older brother now.

Dont listen to what your hands or lips want you to do. listen to your heart. Guys dont like girls that skip around and cant make up their minds what they want! You cant get a guy to like you. Its an attraction for whatever reason. What makes you like a certain guy? If there was 1 guy who really wanted to get you to like him, no matter what he did, i can bet any money, it wouldnt work. People are attracted to many different things about some1. Its not something you can make happen. Its either there or its not!!

for heaven sake, DONT DYE IT AGAIN!!! You cant redye and make it lighter once its black! You have to have it professionally bleached and redyed. Its gonna cost you, but its well worth it.

My boyfriend and I have been dating 3 months. We both have decided that we're not going to throw around the word 'love'. Seeing as most 14 year old couples do. So this is what we do..
When we do say i love you, we agreed we should only say it when we feel the moment is suitable, but we both know that when we say it we mean 'like is too small of a word, but love might be too strong of a word'
Other times we just say like 'I like you a whole lot', but we both know it's not just a normal 'crush' kinda of like.
Do you understand what I mean?
