okay. So I recently started shaving my crotch area. But now it like .. hurts when I have to go to the bathroom. Do I have like an STD or is from shaving? Because I know that area can get infected easily. God, I'm so scared. I really hope I don't have an STD.

shaving is a bad idea for the crotch area, red, sore bumps will most likely form and your lymphoids swell (thats just a gland in your pelvic area, you cnt see it but sometimes you can feel a bump. its not harmful, just warning you so if you happen to feel a large bump under your skin its not cancer). Now, use bleach cream, veet, or waxing (really doesn't hurt that bad). But sjhaving is a bad idea, it will leave a rash and ingrown hairs.

I'm really scared because I had sex with my boyfriend on Monday and on Wednesday I noticed that I was bleeding a little bit, down there in my vaginal area. Its not a lot of blood, but it's still enough bleeding to have my conserned. It is now thursday, and I'm still bleedin, lightly. whats going on??
first of all, if it is your first time then he popped your cherry, and bleeding after that is completely normal
but on the other hand, if it is not your first time then i would suggest a visit to the gynochologist.
But i would say, don'yt worry. He probably just popped a small blood vessel if he pushed too hard or you have a small cut you cnt see. I wouldn't worry because i researched it and a small amount of bleeding isnt the symptom of any disorders or stds.

When I stand up from sitting or laying down, I get really light-headed, dizzy, and everything goes completely white for like 15 seconds. It's almost like temporary blindness. I've talked to various doctors about it, and they tell me the same thing, "stand up slowly." I tried that, but it still doesn't work. I can't see another doctor because we are reall ylow on money, so does anybody have any advice?

i dont want to tell my doctor im sexualy active but i want birth control. i think im going to tell him my period has been going on for 15 days for the last times i had it and that i normally only get it for 5 days. or if i DO tell him i am sexualy active will he tell my mom or is it between me and him?
he will keep it between you and him as long as you insist on it being confidential.
if your doctor seems as if he wnt do so, just say the cramps are unbearable and midol or any other medication just dnt work. saying your period lasts 15 days or more will lead to more investigating thus, you'll be caught but cramps are an easy way to get it

sure, i do it all the time.
1. natural sunlight lightens hair, so go out in the sun more.
2. put lemon juice in your hair then go outside, the lemon juice attracts a certain chemical in the sunlight attracting sunlight to your hair, then lightening it.
3. if you don't want to put lemon juice in your hair go to your local grocery store and in the shampoo or hait stylings isle they will have a product called "beach blonde" which has lemon and other things in it that wnt damage your hair, but when you go out in the sun your hair will get lighter.
-- none of the following dye your hair, but ll of them will make your hair lighter over time.

It doesn't feel any better, in fact it might feel a little gross. But the idea of kissing in the rain is when you are in a vonerable state, outside cold in the pouring rain and he holds you, keeps you warm and makes you feel beautiful when you are drenched and ungroomed. In contrast to what the other answers say this is a problem that CAN BE SOLBVED. You will still be thin, which I'm assuming is not such a bad thing, but you will have a more built and full looking body if you follow the directions below...
-eat lots of proteint and carbohydrates, they will help you muscle grow
-work out, i know you think this will just make you thinner but if you work out alot like running everyday or lifting weights you will get strong, full muscles. Plus running and swimming will give you a strong, big butt if you wanted curves.
-lifting weights for your legs or arms area very good idea, remember muscle will make your body toned and look fit instead of scrawny.
-I know what you're thinking, you don't want to be a huge muscular woman, well you don't have to be. Once you feel toned you can just keep up wioth a regular routine, and if you feel too big remember that unused muscle turns into stored firm fat. So it won't look like celulit or fat, it will just amke your whole body fuller.

Okay. Well, I just turned 13, and I'm 5'7. The average weight for a person that is 5'7 is 135 lbs. I'm 130 but I feel over weight. I ask people that I know would tell me the truth if I was fat and they say no. I have large breasts as well, would that be a reason?

I'm going to be truthful, you're not fat. Every girl feels overweight, it's just our nature. But never look at national averages, because America is fat and the average will be fat. And never look at some guideline because the guidelines have too many variables such as, muscle content, breast size, and bone density.
The only reason I say you are skinny without seeing you is that you are pretty tall and 135 is not a heavy weight for somebody of that height. If you feel bigger just tone up your body muscles, but i assure you you are not overweight.

How many calories or calories from fat should I eat?? (14/f)
depending on how active you are. I would say if you do absolutely nothign and are a smaller frame then 1200 calories a day.
If you are more active, like do sports or go out with your friends; any sort of actual movement everyday. Then I suggest about 1500-1600 a day.
If you are working out alot and building muscle, then 2000 would be a good amount to get you the energy and nutrients you need.
remember too little will slow down your metabolism, making you absorb more fat of everything you eat! Too much will just flat out make you fat. So just eat healthy and a good amount of calories and you'll be just fine.

My ex boyfriend and I dated for almost 2 years, off and on, when he cheated on me back in March. I haven't talked to him since.
He's tried to call me and talk to me but I was too mad and hurt.
Well, on my birthday, he came to my house and gave me a 10 min. long apology. As my gift, he gave me 2 tickets to a concert (Dashboard Confessional--my FAVVV band) and asked me if I would go with him. I told him I'd think about it and call him.
When I got inside, I opened the envelope that the tickets were in and he had written me a note. It said how great I am and that I didn't deserve what he did to me, etc. He said that he knew that the concert doesn't make up for anything but he'd hope it'd be a start to our friendship.
So, I called him up and told him that I'd take him with me to the concert.
Then, about four days after my birthday (today) he calls me and tells me that he can't make the concert because he *night* be out of town that day!! WTF is that? If you buy tickets to something and want to go, then you'd know if you were going to be in town that day or not! Am I right?
What do you think his problem is?
It's a common thing, I know I've done it more then once, but girls tend to think every action a guy makes is hinting towards something or an insult. The truth is, he might just be out of town and he can't help it and he decided to tell you so you can find somebody else to go with before it's too late.
See, from a differant point of view it sounds sweet doesn't it? He cared enough to tell you that way if he can't, you don't go alone. && going out of town isn't always somebody's decision, his parents or boss could be making him.
Before you jump to any conclusions, remember that he spent alot of money to try to make it up to you and it sounds really sweet, so give him a chance.

How can I avoid razor burn? I was doing okay but now I'm getting it.
And also, how can I make my underarms smooth? It seems to have razorburn or..bumps.. that won't go away.. so I keep cutting myself there.
And I can't remove some of the hair there :\
use venus products. My legs were always burned up really badly, then my mom brought home a venus razor for me, and venus skintimate shaving cream. The reason why this works better is because the shaving gel is thick and hydrating, so it creates a balm over your skin so the hair is shaved off, but the skin is not irritated.
The razor works better because it has a hydrating strip on it, and the razors are not dull so you won't have to push down.
As for your armpits, always use shaving cream when you shave them and use Dove skin renewal deorderant. The deodorant is made for soothing razor burn and bumps so within two weeks of using this regularly you should be back to normal.
maybe, if you are wearing long sleeves or something that covers your armpits, don't shave them everyday, like every other day while using the dove deodorant that way they have mroe time to heal then to create new irritations.
