You should try looking up the law in your state... I live in NSW Australia and the law says that if you look under 25 you need to be checked. Dont bother checking older people. Its more of a waste of time. You'd be more productive if you just check under 25s.

I went to the Dr. recently and she told me I am 1.5 cm dilated and that she was able to feel the baby's head. I read online about losing the mucous plug, and some sites say that you can be dilated and still have not lost your mucous plug.

No i dont think it would work... The best way to speed up your metabolism is to eat smaller amounts of food every 2 hours. And exercise. Too many energy drinks in one day will cause heart problems.
