As a post-election project. My teacher wants each of us to write and give an oral report about which party we support and why.
I am a communist, and communists tend to be frowned upon and I wouldn't feel right not doing it because I'm afraid of what other people would think.
So, should I do it on communism, or just pretend to be a republican?

i need some help...ive never made out w/ anyone(or french kissed) tomorrow night i think i might though...because im seeing my crush and i know he wants to. im nervous though because ive never done it, and i know hes more expierenced!!! will he be able to tell im not expierenced? got any tips and pointers on making out/french kissing?! heLpPp

He may or may not tell, it depends on how well you do... Just don't be nervouse! What ever you do, don't keep your eyes open! Lol. Just go with the flow and you will do fine!... I hoped i helped!! :)

There is this guy I'm going out with, and theres also this girl that is kind of my friend, though I find her annoying sometimes. Anyways, before we were going out, my friends all dared me to go hug the guy, because everyone knew he liked me. Hugging is no big deal to me, so I did. The other girl went up to me and told me never to hug him again. I asked her why, and she said, "Just don't." So I just shrugged and went away. Some time after that, he asked me out, and the day after we went to a museum on a field trip. My boyfriend bought me a necklace and it was very pretty. I didn't want to make him think I didn't like him, so I pretty much wore it every day. After a week, the girl told me never to wear the necklace again. I asked her why, and she said "Because it bothers me." I got kind of pissed but stayed under control and kept wearing the necklace. The girl obviously likes my man, or she's just jealous that she doesn't have one. How can I tell her that I don't want her butting in all the time? I don't want to cause any fights.

Hun, sounds like she has a MAJOR crush on your man... you can't be nice to her because she won't get it... Trust me on this! Just like blow her off and embarass her in like infront of everybody then she might leave you a lone... I hoped i helped!! :)

There is this girl at my school(we'll call her sally) and she is really creeping out me and my freinds latley. She ALWAYS follows us around. i think she is just trying to make freinds but the main problem is is that she NEVER talks...EVER!and when i say she follows us i mean everywhere. we were on the bleachers today for this NJHS meeting, and we moved down a row...then she moved down the SAME ROW!! Plus, she thinks that we are best freinds or something-and best freinds with all the popular kids. i really dont know what to do. what is a nicer way to tell her how we feel and to help her make freinds?? thanks.

ok here is the thing...im in 9th grade and so are my 2 friends..i know one of my friends since 7th grade and one since last year (8th) and well they went out from like 01/06/04 to yesterday (11/04/04)...she broke up w/ him bc he wasnt a boyfriend type person who didnt do much..they basically acted like friends who kissed (pecked) nothing else...anyways she broke up w/ him in front of me, my friend kevin and becky outside @ dismal...and after this happened becky was trying to get them back together..and it didnt work and he walked off w/ our other friend matt and she started crying as the 4 of us (me, her..becky and kevin) were walking to the busses..and we took turns holding her and all..then i was talking to her on-line and all last night and she said how she was still crying and i said well you made a good point and all about dumping him..dont keep saying to your self "why did i do that" ...and all..today she came into english crying, and my friend and i were just holding her and all....and we stood there for like 5 minutes and all..she showed me a note he wrote to her and inside was a poem of goodbye and all..and the teacher sent her and my friend to the time out room *basically guidence but all they do is listen to ur problems and thats basically all* and they came back after like 5 mins and she was all calm and etc..then 6th period lunch i was talking to my friend about what was gonna happen 9th period bc we all have study hall etc...it came to 9th period..we didnt even sit at the table...we sat on the floor in the corner of the caf..and after the others decided to ask to get a table open they sat at the table and i remained on the floor w/ her..and at one point i got up and went over to him and asked if he was mad at her bc she wanted to know..so i asked and he said "yeahh bc there was no good reason for why we broke up" and i came back and i told her and she says "yeah there is he didnt act like a bf!" and i said "yeah i knoww i agreeee" then i went back and i asked him why he didnt want to be friends w/ her anymore and he said " i didnt say that! im just steamed i need time to cool off" and i said "then?" he said "then we may become friends again" and i asked "like a month?" and he said " i just need time to cool off" and i went back to her and told her..and she told me to tell him something i dont remember what and that she stilled loves him and i went and told him..and he like "i dont caree" and i went back and i told her..and she was holding a braclet in her hand that she always wears and i know she wasnt trying to cry and i could see it her eyes that she wanted to but she didnt want to do it in front of him..and im not quite sureee...

any advice anyways ways of helpin her??? thx

Let her have her time of grieving... she shouldn't be crying because she broke up with him! (In my opinion, she shouldn't have broke up with him, but should have talked to him and ask him why they weren't like b/f and g/f) I hoped i helped!! :)

Lately I've been feeling so depressed. My life just seems like its going downhill. Its not my grades really. Its just about everything else. Theres a lot of drama going on between my group of friends, and everyone is splitting up (we all still hang out in one place, theres just these little cliques). I've liked this guy for a really long time, and I used to think he liked me, but now he's not showing anything anymore, and that has a lot to do with it. My parents are ALWAYS around. I'm an only child and its not like they're overprotective...I just spend a lot of time at home, and my dad's always bugging me (he didn't go to work in the last few days)... he's loud and obnoxious. I spend a lot of time with my parents and I'm so different from them. They're pigs, and I'm so neat and everything has to be proper, etc. I just feel like I have nobody and nothing to look foreward to in my life anymore. Next year I'm going to be a senior and I've been thinking about my childhood and how its all going to be over soon. I haven't really lived the teenage life...going out with friends every weekend, staying up late talking about my crush or with my crush, sneaking out, having my friends hang out at my house (in my entire life, I've only had friends over 8 times, and only 3 of those times were to hang out...the other times it was for projects). The reason for that is mostly my parents... when we have someone come over, the house has to be cleaned, and never is... my parents have to put on an act, because my dads a regular couch potatoe and my mom is always dancing and doing something stupid (yea, it sounds funny but seriously its so annoying). I never just, go to the mall to hang out with my friends. Theres a lot I've missed out on... having a boyfriend for a week and then breaking up and not having it mean anything. I don't mean stuff like getting in trouble, or doing anything that will damage my body (I've never smoked/drank or anything and I don't regret it)...just the normal teenage stuff. And I regret that. Soon it will be all over and I can't do anything about it. I don't know what to do. Everything makes me so depressed...

First of all, get out of the house! Go cruizing in your car and just pick up your friends unexpectedly and go to the movies or the mall! Then second of all, boyfriends are worth much now-a-days, you will meet a better guy in college... Join more school activites and get into sports or clubs! I hoped i helped!! :)

17f...hey im really really really close with my mom...shes been dating this one guy for like 3 years..they were SUCCCH an unstable couple though like they argued and broke up like every week...my mom even called the police on him once because the fight was so big..he has so much money though its crazy...parts of me thinks thats one of the reasons why my mom is with him..but neway i HATE this guy and my mom knows it..theyve called eachother sooo many names when they fight..it was such a dramatic relationship..im like a fucked up kid from it now because ive witnessed all of it..wheneever they would "break up" he would ALWAYS call my mom begging for her back and saying how sorri he is and blahblah..then they would get back together..theyve gone thru counciling, all of it..the thing is they "broke up" like a month and a half ago and he hasnt called her like once..my mom is SO DEPRESSED off it now..be4 when they would break up she would be like i dont want that asshole, blahblahblahblah..now since shes being rejected i guess she is soo sad..ive tried talking to her and telling her the obvious: its not a healthy relationship, u 2 agrue too much, etcetcetc...but she doesnt get it..i dunno how to help her..they ARENT right for eachother and i DONT want them to get back together..any tips on how i could help her move on?

She probably won't listen to you because your younger... Let her have her time of mourning and she should get better... I hoped i helped!! :)

Hey, theres this girl that I really like. And it turned out she liked me too, so I asked her out last night. She said she wanted to think about it. So then later today after school she gave me a note... it explained that she said "I hope we have a good time together, not only as friends but also a couple..." But also later in the note it said "I also found out that (friend of mine and hers) likes me too, but I felt sorry for him because I told him I like you, do you see how I'm feeling? Anyways you're so shy!! You made me feel like a 'sister'~~ haha! Sorry! Hope you can understand what I'm trying to say!" Well anyways my question is... does that mean we are going out or does she want to stay friends??

well me and my boyfriend have been together for a month...but we have been talking way longer than that!!...we just have this great connection!! were so close! and everyone says were perfect and cute!..we have already said I LOVE YOU!...everything is perfect! except, on Thanksgiving, i will be at my sisters house, her husband's nephew will b there, and i have been having the longest crush on him!! and we would always flirt when we saw each other, the thing is i havnt seen him in months! and well im scared that if i spend thanksgiving with him, i'll probably end up kissing him!..i havn't yet, and well i just really dont want to be treating my boyfriend wrong...PLEASE HELP!!

Try to ignore her husband's nephew... just think before he tries to make a move on you (or other way around), all the bad consequences that would happen between you and your boyfriend... I hoped i helped!! :)

Well I have this friend, and me and her both like the same kid..=/ it's confussing because I was going out with hmm May 25th 2004 and then he dumped me on June 25th.. =/ and then me and her stopped being friends for a while.. and they have went out on and off and the off part we went out? we each went out with him 7 times in the past 6-7 months .. it's weird? but he dummped her just yesterday and says he likes me again, and I hate this because me and her are friends now and I had to do the dumping! =( I still love this kid but I am scared I don't wanna loose a friendship =o'( But I love him? ok so me and my ex-boyfriend broke up after about 3 months of seeing eachother...he said that he found someone new. Well we didn't talk for about a month and now about a week ago he IM's me online and was like hey whats up and i was very hesitant to talk to him bc he really really hurt me bad and i loved him and all and i thought he loved me (he told me he did but i didn't think it was true). Well he asked me if we could talk. So i went to meet him at our usual spot that we used to chill and he was like how have you been and everything. I asked him why he started talking to me again and he said bc he felt bad about everything and said that he acted like an A**hole. which is true. Well then i asked him how him and the other person he met was doing and he told me that it didn't work out between them. I was like oh okay. We hooked up and i knew i shouldnt of an now i like him ALOT again. I dont know if he only is talking to me bc it didn't work out with the other girl or what! can someone please help!! sorry its so long ill rate u high if u answer! thanx!!

it's a little bit of both love life and friendships...ok well,

Me and my best guy friend started going out today. But, there was this really cool guy that I liked and he liked me...and everytime I would go to my guy friend's house (Brandon), he would ask me if I did anything with him...I would tell him no (which was the truth) that I would never/liked doing things with him (which was the truth once again). Then we started going out...I still like him and Brandon...but Brandon is going to move and I would really like a chance with him...(we've been friends since we were like 2...) I don't know wut to do....HELP PLEASE!!!

Since Brandon is moving, go out with him... And once he is gone, go out with the other guy... I hoped i helped!! :)

Does He Like Me?

Hi I am 13 years old and i am female... Here is my problem..So, for a while now, I've had my eye on this guy... He's more like my best friend... I've really really liked him since the middle of last year, I tried to move on but I couldn't, as much as I wanted to move on, I couldn't... I just liked him even more... A couple of weeks ago I told im how I felt about him, it was a bit dramatic, since I gave him this letter which was about 2 and a half pages long, mentioning everything i feel about him... He read it and he didnt mention the letter since I pretty much asked him not to mention it. You'd expect things to get peculiar between us, since we're best friends and i love him way more then that... But things have kind of gotten better... He's been "closer" to me, as in, he hugs me every minutes, puts his arm around me, follows me, tickles me, flirts with me, sits next to me, looks into my eyes, and everything... he even invites me to hang out with him and stuff....it seems like he likes me, but I dont know for sure how he really feels, I mean.. I dont have enoguh guts to walk up to him and be like "do u like me" it might put us in a peculiar stage. So, what are some signs that shows if he really feels the same way about me as I do about him??

Hello, I'm 14 and am a Freshman.
Recently I have been dating my boyfriend for about 2 1/2 weeks. We have been getting along great except for one thing. I have been cheating on him. (I know I hate myself for doing so)
It all started when this guy I was friends with told me he liked me. I felt really bad for him because he always got picked on. So I told him I liked him because I did at the time. And after a week I started going around secretly after school kissing the guy every day. (I had to make stupid excusses for my boyfriend)
Today I stopped because I knew it was getting way out of control. ( I couldn't believe I was doing this to my boyfriend!!! And yesterday I almost french-kissed the guy! It turned out feeling terrible because I wasn't comfortable with him and it was his first time kissing a girl that way!) Today I wasn't late so I went outside and waited for my bus. Me and my boyfriend were having a great time playing around! But the guy I stopped kissing got mad at me because I wouldn't kiss him anymore and now started crying because I'm with my boyfriend. (I know how the guy feels, but don't I have a right to be with my boyfriend!) I feel like I am limited to what I can do with my boyfriend becuase I want to kiss him, but the guy is aways around to see and I don't want to hurt his feelings anymore!
Please help! I wish I had never cheated on him and I don't know what to do so the guy wont be mad at me anymore...

Break off with you guyfriend and tell him why you can't see him anymore... Whatever you do, try to keep this away from your boyfriend! If he finds out from someone else, he will break up with you and if you tell your boyfriend, he may break-up with you too, but if you must tell your boyfriend then that's fine too, but don't say i didn't warn you! 14/f my friend lately has kinda been ignoring me like not talkin to me online, not talkin to me on the bus or at lunch and things like that. We have been friends for like our whole lives basically and she tells me that it annoys her that when i stare at things or people that i stare with my mouth open and i cant help it its a rele bad habit. so why is she ignoring me and what should i do to get more attention from her?

Ok well, there is this guy in my History class that ii always catch looking at me, and sometimes ii glane ove at him to and when he looks, ii look away. I meet this guy at my best friends school dance. We danced and talked, and he seemed pretty cool so i gave him my number. Well a day later he texted me on my phone to say hi and to just see what i was doin that night. We haven't actually talked on the phone yet, but it has only been 3 days since i met him. Should i call him, or wait to see if he calls me?
