Well, from what you say, it seems like there is no proof that he hasn't gotten over her yet. Unless there is solid and non-circumstantial proof to support the theroy that he still loves her, believe him. You are probably just jealous since she was his first love and all, but from what you said, it doesn't seem like he has any interest in her anymore (besides for trying to remain a friendship).

Talk to her about it. Some people just happen to like having power and total control over situations. I myself am one of those people. You should talk to her, but don't ask her to change herself, since as her friend you should accept her the way she is. She might, however, listen if you just brought it up -without- asking her to change her personality.

You just tell him. Expect the worst, because if the best does come, you'll be surprised. If the worst does happen, you'd be prepared for it. Even if he doesn't like you back, he'll probably still be friends.

I'm 16 and I've never been in love. I'd just like to know if anyone else out there has ever been in my position, because I really feel alone. All of my friends throw around the word "love" after having a 2 hour bf/gf relationship. But, I'm scared when I'm older that I won't ever have that one person to wake up and want to be with everyday! Yes, I have. It is better to be that way then to think that every school-girl-type crush is "love" in my opinion. Plus, most people haven't felt "real love" by the age of sixteen.

I'd break up with her if she were really interested in him. Just make sure you aren't only interperting it that way due to jealousy...or trust issues from the past. If it isn't that, then definitely dump her.

You have to think for yourself and stop doing things because you feel bad. If you like her, date her. If you don't, keep it as it is. I don't know the whole background of the situation though.

16/m.-will rate- we met in a chat room, along with id say about 20 other kids. this was before the summer of 2003 and you know we were mostly from the same general area, east coast, but a few random people from cali n stuff. well anyways we all became pretty good friends, guys and girls all between 8th grade[where I was in at that time] and seniors and somehowI knew there was something different about one of them. well I thought you know: she didn’t notice me, she lives too far, blah blah blah. until I decided to, along with one of the guys there who was older, play a prank on her that id ask her out, and when she said no pretend to wanna kill myself.
at first it was hilarious, but then once I realized I hurt her feelings, I knew somethin was wrong
because I liked her as a friend nothing more, because I really didn’t know but I knew she liked me more than that so she felt terrible and then I felt bad too and I was like: wow I guess I must really care
so I told her everything n she told me everything how we felt n stuff. from then on we were...I guess u culd say closer friends. I asked her out everyday as a joke, n she always sed no and then I actually got serious, so I convinced her to believe me. after like 3 weeks and around august
she came around and sed yes. now ur thinkin, wtf is that, thats beyond insane.
she actually doesn’t live too far and yeah I know, we wer young n had no idea what we wer getting into it wasn’t like you know, something real, just for fun I guess. since then
shes been i guess... my 'gf'. now 2 things

I'm really close to this guy named Kevin. He's one of my best friends & I just met him about a month ago when I first moved to this state. He told me he was gay when we first met. It didn't bother me at all, seen as I have a lot of gay friends. But, this was our conversation tonight:

To me, it seems like he is just kidding around. You know how guys sometimes flirt with their close female friends? Like that. It's quite common, but you never know. If it is really bothering you, ask him how serious he was when he said it and what he meant by it...

I have a younger sister, she is 23 and I'm 27. We've never gotten along and I really wish someday that will change.
Part of the problem is that she has always been jealous of me. She is obese, at least 50 pounds heavier then me and is shorter by 4 inches. She's never had a boyfriend or alot of female friends, and I have.
I try to phone her sometimes and have a nice conversation but It's hard for me to be nice to her, because she'll say things like '"what do you want", or "stop calling". She's even been as rude as to correct my grammer.
She has a university degree and all I have is a highschool diploma so she likes to rub this in my face.
The latest thing is that I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding and she wasn't asked. I've always been really close to my cousin and she wasnt, but I think this pissed her off even more and it wasnt my fault.
How can I ever have a relationship with her if she's going to keep treating me this way? I've really been trying. Does anyone have any ideas? (link)

You probably won't have a relationship with her if she keeps on treating you this way. Give her time. If you keep calling her, it will make it worse, since she obviously doesn't want to be bothered yet. Soon enough, she'll meet new people, get a boyfriend, et cetera. Then, there is a better chance she'll be happier with her own life and less jealous of yours. She'll realize that she was being immature and probably come back to talk to you. But for now, give her space. Always be there if she needs it, though.

I had a big falling-out with my best friend this summer. She had been pissing me off for ages, by generally being a selfish, irritating ho (there are quite a few reasons, not important), so I just told her I didn't want to speak to her anymore. And now we are back at school and she has no idea I hate her. I'm still really angry at her, and she is just totally oblivious. I feel like I'd like some way to tell her how I feel or get revenge although I know it would be just to make myself feel better and make her feel bad.

Tell her that you hate her, be straight-forward and blunt. As for revenge, do to her whatever she did to you to make you hate her. But twist it around a little, so she knows what you are doing and shit.
Or you could just make her look like a complete dumbass. That is always fairly easy, unless she happens to be good at retorting.

Mononucleosis is technically called infectious mononucleosis or glandular fever, but is generally referred to as "mono" for short. It occurs primarily between the ages of 10 and 35 years old. When younger children are infected, it causes little or no illness. Such exposure does, however, create an immunity to the disease.
