my boyfriend says everything to me that i am his everything to me and that he loves me and no body else and how much he cares hor me! and he is in love with me. But there his his ex.. his first love and he swears that he dont like her that way any more and he is not going to break up with me for her and he promises on our relationship! i dont know what to believe though i told him i believed him and then i told him that i dodnt believe and that i was confused and i didnt know how to react! but i mean he tells me everything they say to each other and when she calls!

i think you should trust him, unless you have a reason not too. too me your just being a little parannoyed I mean if he goes that far into proving to you that he is not doing anything with his ex then u should believe him. Because if there is no trust in a relationship it usually just ends up as a break up. ok good luck!

Okie...dont worry about it..he may have loved his ex but it didnt work out and now he has you and yes if he tells you that he is in love with you then you shouldnt worry about a thing because you have him and his ex doesnt..Just learn to trust him and belive what he says. Unless he has done something to prove you wrong, then you have no worrys.

What was the reason for their breakup and who did the breaking up makes a difference.
I have an ex and he has a gf, but i dont go calling him. Just doesnt seem right to me. ex's can remain friends, but i really dont think they should be calling each other if they are involved in another relationship. How would he like it if you had an ex that was calling you?
Im not saying you shouldnt believe him, but i think he needs to maybe tell his ex to back off alittle. Its ok if they see each other at school or somewhere and say "hi", but i just dont think they should be calling.
He is still with you, so that means something!

Well, from what you say, it seems like there is no proof that he hasn't gotten over her yet. Unless there is solid and non-circumstantial proof to support the theroy that he still loves her, believe him. You are probably just jealous since she was his first love and all, but from what you said, it doesn't seem like he has any interest in her anymore (besides for trying to remain a friendship).
