ok well i have this one friend and she used to get high and drunk and all that and she was really suicidal. i mean she was in the hospital for like 2 weeks. and then i had to talk her out of it again. but then she went edge and didnt do it at all and punched one of the kids who tryed to get her to. but now shes doing it again and its really scaring me. i mean she lives about an hour away from me so i cant really keep an eye on her or anything. and i dont see her much either but we used to be best friends and now were just good friends i guess. i dont like it when she does this but i cant stop her. i dont know what to tell her so she understands how i feel about this. please help!
I Have a friend just like that and what I did was, I told her what she needed to hear and even though it is the nicest things, she needed to know. Is she doing all of this because she thinks life sucks, then I would tell her that you still have a long way to go and things will get better if you just stick it out! I hoped I helped! hey, i asked a question before about the whole tutor thing and not being sure about what people would say... i have another thing that brings me down. i just went to freshman orientation and everyone was looking at eachothers schedules and i learned that all of my friends are in honors classes and i'm the only one in CP classes. and i'm not exaggerating when i say all of my friends i do mean ALL of my friends. this might sound really consited and selfish but I'M the one that has the higher goals in life and I'M the one that wants to have a great future and they mostly just throw their lives away focusing on boys and partying. the majority of them just want to become like a hair dresser or something like that and i'm the only one that wants to do something great and that's goint to help people I'M the one that wants to be a doctor. why can't I have the good grades??? i'm the one that needs it! i want to be a doctor while all my other friends hardly even want to plan their future! i find this totaly unfair! i feel so stupid sometimes and i just want to sit and cry. what can i do to make myself feel better about all of this!?PLEASE help i rate high!

Ok..Well...About 5 months ago me and my "BFF" stoppped being friends because, well, im not sure, i think it was because her other friends didnt want her to be friends with me, so the other night i said some stuff to her, since she wouldnt leave me alone ((talking to me online)) and saying she was just friends with me outta pity, blah blah. I like this new kid at school a lot its taken forever to have new people come and hes really hott! During the summer I met one of my sister's boyfriend's friend.I met him once,I went to his house with them.His name is Stevan and he would IM me and we'd talk about different things just life in gernal{{sp??}}Yeah well one day he told me he was going to his dad's house and he doesn't get on much so I should call him.Well i didn't want to becuase I never talked to him on the phone so I thought it would be weird ya know?Well I did call.And I called everynight during the summer.We'd always flirt and stuff you know the normal.I started to like him and I told him.Then he told me he likes me.Well at the end of summer we kinda stopped talking but he's still the only guy I think about.Well I went to his house on Sat.He had his arm around me and stuff and was holding me tight.Well we kissed.And then it lead to making out.And when everyone was out of the room he kinda not fully but a lil on top of me and we made out.Well he hasn't asked me out. =-/ so what should I wait for him to ask me out{{which makes me crazy and I cry everyday....}}..Idk what to do....sorry it's long but it's my life.I'm 13 and female.

I'm 13/f with long blonde hair. I'm getting my hair highlighted (a lighter blonde) in a few days and i was just wondering is it really really bad for your hair? Can highlighting it do permenant damage? I'm not sure if i still want it highlighted if it's gunna ruin my hair.
I had the same concern, my mom told me that it was going to, but i went ahead and tried it and my hair still looks fine. I have higlighted it several times, so I wouldn't worrie about!

She should have respected you and known that you liked him. You should just talk to her and let her know your feelings and i think you should try to forgive her but if it happends again I would not forgive her that easily. Hope I helped! And good luck!
