SleepingBeauty answered Monday August 23 2004, 5:55 pm: Lemon juice only works for oily skinned people with acne. If you don't have oily skin I suggest using toothpaste. And don't cover your whole face in it. Just put it on the big pimples and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Before you put it on though, take a wash cloth with warm water and put it on the area you're going to treat to open up the pores and allow the stuff to work better. Karen answered Monday August 23 2004, 11:39 am: Yep, it works. I have tried it but trust me, do not leave it on for a long time because the acid will like eat up your skin. Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]

Sunshine answered Monday August 23 2004, 1:17 am: I have heard that lemon juice helps to treat acne. The acid in the lemon juice is supposed to help. I haven't tried it though. I've also heard that a mixture of 1 tsp. of lemon juice and 1 tsp. of cinnamon is even better. That's definitely cheaper than most of the other acne treatments out there so it's worth a shot.
