ok i am in love with a guy that is black... i honestly dont care about what color his skin is but my parents DO! they dont want me to go out wit a black guy... they can be really messed up like that and i have tryed talking to them about and they always said NO! and i always get mad about it... me and this guy are going out but my mom only knows we are friend but i still cant stand the fact she can be so racest..i love this guy i am wit he respects me and never would make me do soemthing i dont want to do..like yesterday we were at the mall and she say a black guy wit a whtie girl and she was like "omg look stephanie look how pretty that girl is with that black.. i can believe people can do that" i got really mad i thought to myself what if she say me like that... i need some advice on what to do i am 14/f and my bf is a 15/m.. someone please help me!! People are racist, and that is that. You can't change the world. I see no problem with it, but others do. Ask you parents why they don't want you with him, and then try to explain to them how he makes you feel. Maybe then they will understand. But, if you and your boyfriend are really happy, no one should stop you two from being happy. Just ignore other people.

I have been in my current relationship for 9 months. Previouisly my relationship was 4 years in which we had a child. since then her father hasn't seen or talked to her in 6 months. Now when she starts to get close to my boyfriend she takes three steps back. But if she meets someone new she walk with them and hold their hand and she won't do this with my boyfriend. This upsets him and I've told him maybe she's just afraid to get close with himbecause she's afraid he will leave her too. Please help me try to understand this better. My parents divorced when I was 4, and I went into depression. She will talk and things with strangers because she knows that she won't get too close where they might leave her. She IS scared that your boyfriend will leave. Tell him that she needs time, and then talk to your little girl, and let her know that her daddy didn't mean to hurt her, and that your boyfriend doesn't want to hurt her and it's okay to get close. Also let your boyfriend know she is sensitive. Then, try to get her father to see her. It's hard not seeing your father. My dad moved to Connecticut and I saw him 2 times a year. It's hard on kids, because they don't understand the concept of one parent, when everyone else seems to have 2. Just give her time, she'll come around. After all, she is only 5. Trust me, I was the same way with my dad's girlfriend.

Hi me and my boyfriend are together but now we have ti keep it a secret cause his parents say im to young for him but i dont want to keep it a secret anymore but everytime i try to call him he never pick up cause i wan to tell him im not going to do this anymore. But now i grew to be very attracted to his friend and i want to go out with him but he says he will not go out with anyone my age and were only 2 years a part wahta shoudl i do to get rid of my ex and go out with the new kid i like. Well, if the other kid says he won't go out with anyone your age, that is that. You can not change it. Also, tell you boyfriend he admits to his parents about y'all , or your over. Because, you shouldn't have to keep anything a secret. His parents should accept who he dates as long as it is not an 8 year old girl or a 50 year old woman. (assuming he's ages 13-18, but you get the drift, plus or minus 3 years isn't bad.)

I've confided a lot in total strangers lately. On this i mean. I'm happy with that it makes me feel ssecure that it cant come back on me. Any how friends of the realm. I have found myself incredibly angry these last few years. Im 16 years old and i am probably sufering from something beyond me. I jus want to know. How can i control this anger or what ways are there too redirect it. I'm only concerned because i'm starting to hit things like punch walls and anything close to hand; alll the time!! And can anyone possibly give any clues as to what this could be. All help greatly appreciated.

You really need to think about whats been going on. Also, a positive outlet, like running to angry music helps get out all emotions. Hope it helps.

Okay, I know I'm an advice columnist, but I really need help. My best friend Rachael, dated my other best friend Evan. And that was fine. Evan broke up with her numerous times. Then they always got back together. Rachael got sick of it and broke it off for good. Then while Rachael was at camp me and Evan started going out. I only did it because I knew Rachael didn't like him still. Rachael is the um.. JEALOUS type. VERY jealous type. But still, she didn't care we were going out. She was TOTALLY okay with it. Then last night she told Evan she still liked him, and was thinking about him. With Rachael, it's REALLY obvious when she lies, so when she said she didn't like Evan, I KNEW she was telling the truth. I think she's lying about still liking Evan. But I don't know. I think she did it cuz Evan liked her still.. until he started going out with me, and Rachael thinks he still likes her. And Evan is moving 45 minutes away from here. My question is.. should I stay with him? Or not? I REALLY like him.. And his brother would drive him here every week to see us. But his mom might not let him. What should I doooo? Well, first things first, your friend needs to move on. She is obviously jealous that her best friend is going out with her ex. (It's understandable but still)Also, if you really like him, and you can see him occasionaly, as long as you stay true to each other, I think there is no problem. Also, if your mom doesn't like the idea of every week, try every other week, and try to get him to come down to you sometimes. Hope this helps.

Ramen is always good, and so is speghetti. They are easy to make. Also, Hot Pockets and mini tacos are good. All you really have to do is heat them up /cook them. It only takes about 3-5 minutes tops. Fruit also always works nicely as a snack, and so do freezer pops. Yum.

I suggest drawing (with a pencil), or bringing a CD player and pillow. (Sleep and music are always good) Also, if you can get a portable DVD player and bring some DVDs, that is always good.

Well, you're not going out and you almost had sex? I would say he needs to go out wiht you if he wants to do that. He can still "talk to other girlls" but if he really wants you that bad, he should ask you out, and if he declines. Get him out of your life. Or shoot him, which ever works easier.

My little sister is turning 16, and I want to get her a cool present. She doesn't like clothes, or perfume, or most typically girly things. What she really likes is anime and anything cute and cuddly. She also loves video games.
I've been considering getting her either a How-to-Draw reference book or a J-pop/J-rock cd.

If she likes to draw, like my friend who is into Anime, get her a sketch book and some nice art tools, or find out her favorite Anime show, and get her a "cute and cuddly" stuffed animal from that show. Hope this helps!

There is something called "Sally Hanson nail growth" , and it makes your nails grow long, fast. Also, near that product on the "Beauty section" there are some similar products that when you put the polish on, and try to bite your nails, you get a horrible taste in your mouth. I used it when I used to bite my nails, and now I don't, so I would recomend it.

I have Verizon wireless for my cell phone service provider. I've always had text messaging, but only for local numbers, I guess. I didn't have long distance on my phone. My parents recently got me long distance so that I can communicate with my cousin out of state. I've never seen my phone bill before (for texting), just for phone calls, to see who I called etc. Now, for texting, does it say which numbers I've texted on the bill? or which ones I've received? If not for all called, does it say which LONG DISTANCE numbers I texted or what? How does that go? (link)

The number you have texted and called will show up on the bill, if your parents request, I'm pretty sure. Otherwise, it will just show the payment under which each number owes, not what numbers you have called/texted or recieved from.

iok yesterday i went to my friends house and she told me there was a guy that looked like a guy that i used to like and had the name of my ex. so i wanted to see him.. nothin else. but then my friends cousin hooked us up and i dont even noe the guy i would have said no but her cousin told him i liked him. the problem is he is 20 and i am well 14.. he didnt care about the age but i have a clsoe guy friend that i like a lot we are planning to hook up we just have to find a way to see each other more. (he lives 15 min. away) and my friend is 15.. i want to give this guy a chance because he was all sweet to me but i think the only reason why he asked me out was 4 my looks. but we were taking pictures and he had his hands all over me and he didnt even noe me. here is what i would like to noe:
*should i give him a chance? if not how can i break it to him but still wanting to get to noe him better?

If you think maybe you could have a future, give him a chance, and about the picture thing, tell him not to go to fast. If you really like your guy friend, tell him, because honesty is good, and if he is insecure, reassure him that you like him so much, and soon enough he will finally get it.

Doing little things shows her you care. Buy her her favorite candy, take her out to her favorite place, hold her hand, and that should let her know. Talk about what attracted you to her in the first place, because you wouldn't be with her if you didn't have something in common. If she changes the subject, roll with it and talk about what she changed the subject to.

I have this friend thats my neighbor and ive known him all my life pretty much and like we used to be unseparable ((spelling)) and now like since i got a little older and he got more into his baseball and paintball its like were fading apart and i just dont want that to happen because i would die for him if it came down to that and i juss REALLY dont wanna lose him cuz hes like the little brother i never had,,,does anyone have any suggestions on what i could do to help this friendship?!?

My family wants to get another dog. We already have a Bichon Frise and we would like to get another small dog, maybe smaller that a Bichon Frise. Does any body know of any good dogs, that work well with children, are cute, arent that expensive, and would work well with another small dog? Hello. You need to get help IMMEDIATLY. My friend was a cutter, and I was the one he trusted to tell. I let his mom know, and he is so much better now. You need to tell someone you knwo you can trust and let them know. Tell your parents if you need to, but you need to get help.Cutting is no way to live. well see last year i had a HUGE crush on this guy and then i stopped liking him because i thought i could nva happen. One night won't tell you much of anything. Honestly, if y'all are that good of friends, you should ask him who he likes, CASUALLY, don't let him know you like him unless you're sure he likes you. You don't want to be heartbroken. If he does like you though, and you like him, him being your brother's friend shouldn't stop you two.
