I have Verizon wireless for my cell phone service provider. I've always had text messaging, but only for local numbers, I guess. I didn't have long distance on my phone. My parents recently got me long distance so that I can communicate with my cousin out of state. I've never seen my phone bill before (for texting), just for phone calls, to see who I called etc. Now, for texting, does it say which numbers I've texted on the bill? or which ones I've received? If not for all called, does it say which LONG DISTANCE numbers I texted or what? How does that go?

Text messaging is really no different than making a phone call, only that it uses a tiny amount of signal - so really, text messaging is a horrible rip-off, but because people think it is cool, people keep doing it. It is usually cheaper to make a 10 second phone call than it is to text someone.
