My little sister is turning 16, and I want to get her a cool present. She doesn't like clothes, or perfume, or most typically girly things. What she really likes is anime and anything cute and cuddly. She also loves video games.
I've been considering getting her either a How-to-Draw reference book or a J-pop/J-rock cd.

AskSteff answered Thursday July 14 2005, 1:14 pm: Hey... why don't you just get her a gift card to the mall or something?? Then she could pick out her own thing. Stay Cool, Steff [ AskSteff's advice column | Ask AskSteff A Question ]
ElmosBrightStar answered Tuesday July 12 2005, 10:48 pm: If she likes to draw, like my friend who is into Anime, get her a sketch book and some nice art tools, or find out her favorite Anime show, and get her a "cute and cuddly" stuffed animal from that show. Hope this helps! [ ElmosBrightStar's advice column | Ask ElmosBrightStar A Question ]
MELiixMARiiE answered Tuesday July 12 2005, 7:02 pm: My friend is obsessed with Anime and she has this book on how-to-draw anime things and it's really cool-- my friend's like in love with it..haha she always has it and she's always copying the pictures from it =) so yeah she'd probably really like that. Or you can also get her some Anime DVD's of her favorite show. Or since she likes cuddly stuff, try getting her an anime stuffed animal. Like find out her favorite anime show, and see if they sell stuffed characters of them... cause then it's anime and cuddly!! =)
heres a site I found:
like I used this one show INUYASHA as an example, and in the search bar I typed "Inuyasha 8 inch plush figure" and it had some options so try to find out her fav. anime show, and type the same thing only instead of inyuasha the show's name or the characters name..
Hope I helped!!

blondebaby1016 answered Tuesday July 12 2005, 5:14 pm: Yeah! that sounds like a great idea, if it comes down to you not having any good ideas, get her a gift certificate to the mall or her favorite store, that way its easier and she can buy whatever she wants. I do it all the time. =) [ blondebaby1016's advice column | Ask blondebaby1016 A Question ]

Teza answered Tuesday July 12 2005, 3:14 pm: A car would be a good present! lol j/k but if she likes video games then get her a favorite that she doesnt have. J-pop/J-rock CD is also a good idea. But I would give her money. Since she is your little sister and she is turning 16.. I would give her $150-200! Trust me she would be happy! Then she could get herself whatever she wanted! [[ ♥ ♥ ]]
